Saqqqq
I got up at 8am, walked 10 mintues to the computer room at university and came online and went onto Ebay for one purpose - to bid only on Frogger with box and instrctions, but got caught up writing an email and missed the auction! i was so annoyed cuz thats the game I lvoed as a kid, and I missed out, so what did I do? I went on a bidding rampage and bougth 5 other Atari games to appease my frustrations. (and lsot out on a few more, but oooohh, it was close heheh) All boxed with instrictons, I jsut bought: Kaboom (i herd its awesome eheheheh)! Q-Bert (i also loved this game but prefer frogger) Decathalon (heard its good too but will break my controls?) Space Shuttle (dotn ask me why...) Secret Quest (dont ask me why...) That along with the fact I bought ghostbusters, double dunk and dancing plate recently which I couldnt afford as a student lol. (all boxed with instrctions)... holy cow..someone stop me, I have my eye on a few more, and I onyl wanted frogger!!!!!!! Saq. ps - this Dancing Plate game, is it rare, it doesnt even make the search engine on this site - someone put it on please!! lol. Is it any good fun to play?! AtariDude
Sorry to hear that you were not able to obtain frogger. That is the problem with bidding sometimes. Someone can always outbid at the last minute. Anyway if it helps, there is someone right now who is selling Frogger plus Qbert and Raiders of the Lost Ark. It looks like it is $3 currently so it is a good deal at the moment. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?V...item=1274596446 Of course, you can also start at the main ebay page, click on video games, atari and then perform a search on frogger. I hope you get the game!
videotwit
Dancing Plate / Tanzende Teller was released by Puzzy / Bit Corp. only in Europe, which is why it isn't listed on the Atari Age site. Game Reset (a fabulous German VCS site) has information about it here. I don't think it is too rare, it's probably closer to "uncommon" in rarity. I know there are people with more experience in the European collecting market. Maybe Jah Fish or Marco can help you out. Guys?
ATARIPITBULL
I know what you mean!!. I too have gone on a buying rampage when I loose an Atari item I realy wanted. One night I thought I had a Swordquest Waterworld complete in the box, when some total scum bag bought it out from under me with 15 seconds to go,. If I ever find this punk i'm going to rip his hart out.
jahfish
hey pitbull, ebay/bidding is a game, like poker or blackjack, and it's expensive ... you weren't ready to spend more. accept that. and there's enough political, religious, millitary and economic wars out there. don't start a vintage gaming war! defeat him in pacman or warlords or battlezone. StanJr
jahfish has the answer! I say we challenge the terrorist organizations to a mad game of Warlords and Combat. Atari, the great mediator! If only. Diplomatic Stan
