Joel D. Park
That's a crazy thought. I wonder if the 2600 puts out enough 9V juice to read a cart acrossed all those bridges plugs wires and stuff. That's still a great idea. There's only one way to find out. bcprs1
Either it will work or you will fry all of them. If you do, be sure not to put your prized copy of Quadrun or Waterworld in them.
videotwit
I remember at one point seeing a VCS in-store display that basically was about 36 games plugged into a giant board (much like a scaled-up RGA International Video Game Brain). This board was plugged into a standard 2600 to play the games. I can't remember how a game could be chosen, but a simple button next to each of the cart inputs would work just dandy. Taking this concept a step further, it would be very possible to have 100, 200, maybe even 400 games on 1 giant board. You wouldn't have to daisy chain anything together thus cutting down the possibility of RF interference, and each game could be selected by the push of a simngle button. How readily available would the materials be to homebrew something like this (are the connectors the carts plug into a standard item - how would that work without pulling them out of 400 different VCSes or 100 Game Brains)? Would it be possible at all? It sounds like a cool idea, but I would be interested to hear from someone "in the know" if they thought it would be something that actually could be pulled off! ATARIPITBULL
Even if you had all these Atari game links hooked up together, were in your house would you put such a thing. Your front room would look like the Atari corporation threw up all over your house.

This is what the Store Display looks like. Of course, an Imagic Previewer would be even cooler - too bad they're almost impossible to find... videotwit
Ahh, yes! So, it has 24 slots. I still think it could be expanded on. Marco - geez, you have EVERYTHING!!! I was thinking that to myself when I saw your scan of Gauntlet by Answer, and now that thought has been reaffirmed!

Heh, I keep saying that to myself and still I keep finding stuff on people's tradelists and auction sites that I feel to be unbearable holes in my collection. Yeah, I'm seriously addicted... I have thought of taking a break from collecting, even before the NYC and DC disasters. But collecting and talking about classic videogames just gives me too much pleasure, I always find.
