Super Bagman
Does anyone know where I can get a scan of the box/label art for Atari's Frog Pond? I did an online search and it looks like it was in one of the Atari Age magazines- but I don't have the issue. Can anyone direct me to a scan on the net or send me it if you have access to it? To escape all the sadness on tv, I'm going to try to design a box/ label for my copy. Thanks everyone! bumelfesan@aol.com
Alex
Do you know which issue? We have scans offline, I can look for you. Never mind, I found it, you made me curious. Here's a cropped image from the existing scan I had: Frog Pond [ 09-18-2001: Message edited by: Alex ]
Tempest
Wierd! That doesn't look like any Atari artwork I've ever seen. It's really 3D looking. Tempest

Is that an actual prototype box from Atari or did someone just make one? ..Al
Marco(2)
Hi Alex, It's the real thing - isn't it a beauty?! Cheers, Marco [ 09-19-2001: Message edited by: Marco ]
Tempest
Wow that's neat, it never occured to me that it would be a silver box (but that is the right time frame). I still say the artwork looks very out of place for Atari, I'm not sure why, but just look at it in comparison to the other artwork they used at the time. BTW speaking of prototype boxes, does anyone have a picture of the 5200 Tempest and Battlezone boxes they showed in Cloak & Dagger? Tempest
Speaking of which, does anyone have those scanned in on-line? I'd love to see some of the stuff that never got released (and the prototype artwork). Tempest
