Alternate hookup method for the VCS?

Hi, all! This is my first post. I would like to start off by offering some info. I have discovered that you can hook your VCS(without using that darn switch box)directly

into your cable input on your TV if you plug the audio/video cable of your VCS into an adapter you can buy at Radio Shack. Video/Rf Adapter(Radio Shack Cat. # 278-255B) it adapts phono plug to fit "F" type jack(coaxial). It's less then $3.

So, plug the a/v cable(of your VCS) into the phono plug end and then plug the other end into cable input of your TV. This really works well! After years of using those crummy switch boxes with their static and signal loss, I finally get to play with a perfect, clear picture!!! Woo Hoo!!

The only draw back is I have to unplug my cable to plug in the VCS and then vice versa when I want to watch cable.

I hope this is information that someone here can use. I don't think I have seen this anywhere else, but, if I am just repeating info that is common knowledge please forgive me.

No Problema, you can fix that in a jiffy, go back to RadioShark and buy a TV A/B switchbox with coaxial inputs, those usually sell for like $3, have fun
