Not surprising.  That would have put the majority of us somewhere in our mid-childhood to early teenage years during the 2600's heyday.

Crikey - I'm younger than most. Makes a change from my "real" life...

I'll be 21 and 7 years on 20th October... I can't be bothered getting older than about 21 - too much hassle.

You really can't judge a person's age by how they write. I would have bet that Tempest was older than me and that Random Terrain was younger.

I'm approaching 35, the age of CPUWIZ. Mr and Mrs MMF tell me that I look a hell of a lot like him as well. That poor guy.

Trust me, the thirties are where it's at. You're still young enough to get crazy but you're experienced enough to make it home unscathed.

I think my age is perfect. I was born in 1970. We had cool tv growing up, saw the coming of home vcr, dvd, cds, video games, microwaves, etc.  We have an appreciation of board games and then saw the evolution of the entire gaming industry. We grew up collecting comic books and trading cards. We also spent alot of time outdoors playing wiffle ball, football, handball, basketball, and other sports. When we had no money, it was a piece of chalk and some bottle caps with melted wax.  We played with our action figures, not keeping them mint in package.

You can't appreciate the times unless you've lived them. I can say that I'm proud to have been born when I was, not earlier, not later.

Oh, and if it wasn't for my mom being pregnant with me, my dad probably would have been drafted for Vietnam. I'm lucky to have him alive and well, and he's happy to have me around. :)

Since the title of this post is an average age for collectors, can we have a moderator OFFICIALLY put an average age of everyone on here?

Phil
