Identifying PAL and NTSC carts

All I know is that if you put it in, and the screen rolls... it's PAL

Seriously though, don't go by wether the packaging is multilingual... some of the French stuff may be Canadian. I think most PAL Atari games have a P *somewhere* on the cartridge... like CX-2604P as the part number or something. Activision games sometimes have a round "P" sticker on them (though I can't guarantee that every PAL game has this), and I've seen many with "N" stickers as well.

In the end, I don't think there's any foolproof way to know... Imagic doesn't seem to make any distinction (I learned this the hard way)

As far as carts on a UK VCS go, check the screen display of your game against a screenshot on Atariage, if the colours are violently different, it's NTSC.

I've got Tennis with a blue court and Skiing with blue trees and an orange man

Ive also noticed that some of my Atari carts have a square P sticker in the centre of the back/blank side of the cart, but as you say about the Activision stuff it certainly isn't universal.

I have see, that the old text Lable Atari games has a P behind the number.

Example 1.

Then picture Lables from Atari has the P on the small Lable behind the name or at the back, as small P sticker, of the Game.

And some Activision games has this on the Lable INTERNATIONAL EDITION.

Example 2

I have test my Gas Hog game, if this is PAL or NTSC. By NTSC games I have diffrent colors on my PAL Atari. And I have ever thing this is PAL, because the PAL is not so Rare and I live in germany. But I have diffrent colors by Gas Hog.Gas Hog AtariAge NTSC

This what here is green by me is it blue. And the violett is by me green.

Have I a NTSC game, or has sometimes the PAL version diffrent colors.

By my Frogger II Threeedeep! I have too a bit other colors. Maybe this is NTSC too.
