Rick Weis
Rick, Do you have a scan of this game? And do you know the game number of Home Vision's Topsy? Thanks! scan of the game cart or game screen or both? BTW the dead-ray cart i have is in a black case with no # on it no end label and don't say homevision on it but front label has the house shape picture... TOPY (no S) =#26 (white case version) Rick

Rick Weis
Interesting! I always thought Asteroid Fire (#11) looked like that. just checked, NO, it's not! i'm leaving for work right now, if you want a screen shot of that i will add it to the site later tonight. (if i remember) can't remember the name of the game for dead-ray but i do remember seeing it before.... Rick
Rom Hunter
A screenshot of Asteroid Fire would be nice, Rick! Dead-Ray is similar to (amongst others): Astrowar (Arctic) Astrowar (Dimax - Sinmax) Astrowar (Goliath) Kampf im Asteroiden-Gürtel (Quelle) Meteor Defense (ITT Family Games) Missile War (Goliath - Hot Shot)

Rom Hunter
So Great Escape (Bomb - Onbase) = Asteroid Fire (Home Vision). That makes sense, because: Assault = Sky Alien. Wall-Defender = Wall Break. Z-Tack = Base Attack. Thanks again, Rick! Another little mystery solved. BTW, I'm still looking for the game numbers of Col 'N' and Traffic... Rom Hunter
It's like a giant Taiwanese puzzle! I would really like to see screenshots of the following games: Cosmic War #36 Topy #26 X'Mission #18 And the game numbers of: Col 'N' Traffic
YOK-dfa
And the game numbers of: Col 'N' Traffic I assume Traffice is the same as Racing Car? If it is, the number would be #24...
Rom Hunter
I'm not quite sure Traffic is the same game as Racing Car. This is what I found out, so far: Home Vision: Asteroid Fire (Great Escape - Bomb) [11] Base Attack (Z-Tack - Bomb/Cosmic Town - ITT) [13] Clown Down Town (Walker - Rainbow Vision) [?] Col 'N' (Alien's Return - ITT) [?] Cosmic War (AKA ?) [36] Dead-Ray (Astrowar - Dimax/Meteor Defense - ITT) [?] Frisco (Brick Kick - R.J.P.G./Peter Penguin - ITT) [4] Gogo Home Monster (AKA ?) [3] IQ 180 (I.Q. Memory Teaser - Rainbow Vision?) [?] Lilly Adventure (Wilma Wanderer - ITT) [17] Magic Carpet (AKA ?) [?] Magic Puzzle (Dice Puzzle - Sancho?) [?] Panda Chase (Panda Quest - Rainbow Vision?) [5] Parachute (Skydiver - Rainbow Vision?) [23] Plate Mania (Dishaster - Zimag) [34] Racing Car (AKA ?) [24] Robot Fight (Space Robot - Dimax) [1] Ski Hunt (Mountain Man - ITT) [6] Sky Alien (Assault - Bomb/Fire Birds - ITT) [12] Tanks War (Tanks But No Tanks - Zimag) [?] Teddy Apple (I Want My Mommy - Zimag) [37] Tennis (Tennis - Activision) [7] Topy (AKA ?) [26] Traffic (Hell Driver - ITT) [?] Wall Break (Wall-Defender - Bomb) [14] War 2000 (AKA ?) [2] World End (Laser Base - ITT) [9] World Trap? (AKA ?) [9] X'Mission (AKA ?) [18] Zoo Fun (Pumuckl I - ITT) [?] Missing numbers: 8, 10, 15, 16, 19-22, 25, 27-33, 35 Other Home Vision Games: Motocross - Quelle Seal to Whales - Datatech Words-Attack - Sancho Unknown Datatech Game I only used the AKAs to see which companies' games must be examined to find Home Vision traces. As you can see, I really want to solve this so called "Legendary and Mysterious" Home Vision puzzle. I know it's a difficult one, but it can be done (with the help of some die-hard collectors). So please help me to fill in the gaps and correct this list where it's wrong. Thanks!
Rom Hunter
Rick, is it possible to show me some screenshots of: Cosmic War #36 Topy #26 X'Mission #18 and tell me the game number of Traffic? Thanks!

sku_u
Here's another for you. The game is as of yet unidentified and has Datatech as its company name meaning it very well may be another Homevision release. Its not dumped yet, but hopefully will be when I get around to sending it back to CPUWIZ: http://atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t...ht=unknown+game
Rom Hunter
Thanks, sku_u. That's the unknown Datatech game I mentioned in the list above. Thomas found Home Vision traces in Motocross (Quelle) and Words-Attack (Sancho). Seal to Whales (Datatech) has some too and I think there are some more Sancho games with Home Vision traces within. And then there's: Farmyard Fun (probably Rainbow Vision - Suntek) Dragon Defender Ski Run and Criminal Pursuit. Maybe Home Vision games too. Are there any screenshots of: Gogo Home Monster (Challenge?) Magic Carpet (?) Magic Puzzle (Dice Puzzle?) Racing Car (Motocross?) War 2000 (?) X'Mission (?) I wonder how they look like. YOK-dfa
See screenshots from the back of the boxes. Cheers, Marco Those screenshots are not very accurate though. My Cosmic War looks different then those 'screenschots'. As soon as the batteries for my digital camera are finished charging i'll make a picture
Thomas Jentzsch
I had a look inside some binaries, many of them have removed copyrights. The code for displaying them is still there (sometimes even a nice scroller like Activision did), but the graphic data has been erased. E.g. Hole Hunter Criminal Pursuit Fire Spinner Immies & Aggies
video game addict
Is topy an adult game, what's he using as a spinner?
Rom Hunter
Thanks for looking inside the binaries, Thomas! Marco's screenshots are accurate enough to see that: Topy = Mole Hunter (Rainbow Vision - Suntek) Cosmic War = Cosmic Corridor (Zimag - Emag) Which makes sense. Titles left: Gogo Home Monster (Challenge?) Magic Carpet (?) Magic Puzzle (Dice Puzzle?) Racing Car (Motocross? - Grand Prix?) War 2000 (?) World Trap (?) X'Mission (?) Thomas Jentzsch
Ok, it's not Homevision related, but look what I found inside Froggo's Karate: .byte %01111101; $7d; | XXXXX X| $fd82 .byte %01101101; $6d; | XX XX X| $fd83 .byte %01101101; $6d; | XX XX X| $fd84 .byte %01111001; $79; | XXXX X| $fd85 .byte %01101100; $6c; | XX XX | $fd86 .byte %01101100; $6c; | XX XX | $fd87 .byte %01111101; $7d; | XXXXX X| $fd88 .byte %00000000; $00; | | $fd89 .byte %10011111; $9f; |X XXXXX| $fd8a .byte %10011011; $9b; |X XX XX| $fd8b .byte %10011010; $9a; |X XX X | $fd8c .byte %10011000; $98; |X XX | $fd8d .byte %10011000; $98; |X XX | $fd8e .byte %00111110; $3e; | XXXXX | $fd8f .byte %10011000; $98; |X XX | $fd90 .byte %00000000; $00; | | $fd91 .byte %00111110; $3e; | XXXXX | $fd92 .byte %00110110; $36; | XX XX | $fd93 .byte %00110110; $36; | XX XX | $fd94 .byte %00110000; $30; | XX | $fd95 .byte %00110000; $30; | XX | $fd96 .byte %00110110; $36; | XX XX | $fd97 .byte %00111110; $3e; | XXXXX | $fd98 .byte %00000000; $00; | | $fd99 .byte %11111001; $f9; |XXXXX X| $fd9a .byte %11011011; $db; |XX XX XX| $fd9b .byte %11011011; $db; |XX XX XX| $fd9c .byte %11011000; $d8; |XX XX | $fd9d .byte %11011011; $db; |XX XX XX| $fd9e .byte %11011011; $db; |XX XX XX| $fd9f .byte %11111000; $f8; |XXXXX | $fda0 After that the code continues. YOK-dfa
Put it together and you'll get this: | XXXXX XX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX X| | XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX| | XX XX XX XX X XX XX XX XX XX| | XXXX XX XX XX XX XX | | XX XX X XX XX XX XX XX| | XX XX XXXXX XX XX XX XX XX| | XXXXX XX XX XXXXX XXXXX | | | Now flip the text on the horizontal axis and you read Bitco (Bitcorp?) although the last character does not seem to be an 'r'. Makes you wonder if this is A) a coincidence B) something intentionally put there C) totally nothing and i am seeing things that are not there D) All of the above
Thomas Jentzsch
Now flip the text on the horizontal axis and you read Bitco (Bitcorp?) although the last character does not seem to be an 'r'. I know, and the font is also different to the oneBitcorp used.
