ehenciak
Hi all, Another silly question...looking at TIA's schematics, it seems that the a write to the Player 1 graphics register stores the current contents of the ball enable register. This appears to have something to do with the vertical delay of ball. Is this Player 1 graphics / ball relationship mentioned anywhere in the Stella documentation or am I missing something? Forgive my ignorance! I sent this without analyzing the circuit too much since I'm working hard on something related to this right now ! Thanks! ehenciak
Uh, make that the inversion of the current ball enable register is stored when the player 1 graphics register is written. Sorry about that! Ed
Robert M
I am sure you are seeing something having to do with the vertical delay function for the Ball. It's interesting that you mention it seems to be tied to P1. I have never used that function, so I can't offer more info. Sorry.
Thomas Jentzsch
Yes, it is P1 and no, IIRC it is not explained in the Stella Programmer's Guide.
