my atari web page

Hey Broncoman--go to the photo album of my website to see the cart commander charts. This is hours of work, but well worth it, since I found out that I needed three rather common carts that I had overlooked. Please be patient when the images load...Also, only the home page,history/background page, photo album page and links page, have content now.

Yeah, Cart Commander is a little tough, but since I have not even read all the instructions,it doesn't seem too confusing.I still have all my atari lists(and other collecting lists) on this computer and backed up on another computer. These lists are just WordPad text files-simple but effective...The website was also done without reading anything. My theory of computing is this;push buttons until you get the desired effect,or crash the whole deal--whichever happens first.

If i can learn it, anyone can and i had a few questions when i started using it

i use it alot only because i sit at this computer desk when i get new games to clean and catalog them, and i also have all my games, acsessories, systems and manuals written down on paper, its looking pretty torn up and the first 2 pages are held together by tape, with pop spills on the front.

I love the Sort-by features

I tried Cart Commander, and I think it's a great program, but without the ability to add custom fields I can't really use it. Some consoles I collect for use different rarity systems, some include gameplay ratings, I like to know how many overlays I have for a game (not just yes or no), etc.

It's pretty easy to keep track of games in an Excel table, so I've just been doing that for now.

I like Cart Commander, and actually sent along some suggestions to the author that he said would probably end up in the next version... so I've been waiting for the next version before I type in all my 2600 stuff I've already done a bunch of the other stuff through an older version, and it's quite good.
