King Atari
Which version of "Mario Bros." is rarer, the one with the copyright, or the one without?
StanJr
They are both equally rare as far as I know. AA lists them as 4. Answer Stan
King Atari
Ah, you are correct, but that doesn't quite make them of equal rarity. As mentioned in a previous post, a game rated a 6 might be rarer (or less rare) than another game rated a 6. I imagine the same applies for games rated at 4. StanJr
Hmm. But wouldn't that make the rating system a sham? I mean if a game is rarer than a 6 it should be a 7, right? I'd say the non-copyright is a 4.8 rarity while the other is a 4.2 I always rate, Stan
King Atari
Stan, Albert or Alex could solve this better than I could. I figured the guide was a just a general idea of how rare the games are.
ubersaurus
How about copyright versions of Asteroids? ;p
StanJr
Rarity: 0.9 I tripped over six trying to get the mail this afternoon.
King Atari
Stan's right, I have 2 copies (yep, only 2!) and they both have the copyright screen.
King Atari
Speaking of WAY too common games, I've seen more "Combat"'s than I care to remember, but I almost never see picture label versions, and I've never seen the 1977 numbered copy.
