In Search of the Golden Skull

I just read an interesting thing about In Search of the Golden Skull on the Blue Sky Rangers page. According to them, ISOGS was designed and programmed by Jerry Lawson of Videosoft. As we all know Videosoft only released one 2600 game (Color Bar Generator), but also designed the ill fated Channel F system. Even the Blue Sky Rangers don't know why Mattel contracted this game out. According to them the only other game contracted out to a group other than APH (their main contractor) was the 2600 version of AD&D Treasure of Tarmin. That was apparently done by Synth Group which was supposedly just two guys programming in their garage. Strange stuff.

Glad for the necrobump since I don't recall seeing this before. This is neat, especially the fact that it was meant to have added RAM. It continues to boggle the mind what innovations (shared or otherwise) we would have had for the three major pre-Crash consoles had everything continued at healthy 1982-3 levels.
