Sprite Routine Development (for Atari 8bit)

This thread is from eight years ago. Some of the above posters haven't been on Atariage in years. Just letting you know in case you didn't realize it.

OT: thx, Allan, but it does not matter. The definition he gave about ring buffer is somewhat inexact but i think i does not worth to point it. the post is focused on sprite issue not a race or contest to show who is best in doing citations of computer science.

The above description is universally known as the ring buffer technique when it does apply to game development approach on those ancient beasts. So do not hurt people by entering in this forum only to let us know your ample knowledge of definitions in computer science. ;-)

I apologize too, the fact is that for me is not so easy to understand what one is saying. On a forum, in written form it is easy to misunderstand what one is saying, as opposed to verbal comunications. So i've thought you were a kind of conceited person, that is see it not the case
