King Atari
I have done it! I have created a TV with a built in 2600! The screen is fuzzy, but it works! As soon as I get the reception cleared up, I'll post shots! This project was much easier than I though it would be, and the best part is, there's a vertical hold, so you can play both PAL and NTSC games! All I need to do is fix the reception and give it a covering for the top, and it'll be ready to play! moycon
I remember you were trying to decide what tv to use...You said you had one you thought about using out in the garage with a vertical hold on it.... My question is...Is it a color TV?

Atarinvader
Good job King! I wish I had the time to finish my VCSp, I got about 65% into it. *sob* One day I'll dig it out again.
King Atari
quoteMy question is...Is it a color TV? Yep, everything works good in it. I nearly broke my back dragging it out of the garage, but it's in and running. quoteI wish I had the time to finish my VCSp, I got about 65% into it. *sob* That's probably more than I could get finished, minimizing the 2600 is something I probably wouldn't be very good at. ATARIPITBULL
What you have done sounds great but when you complete it, will you be selling it?.
King Atari
Uh, I don't know. If it looks nice enough. I mean, the whole top is open, I've got to cover it with something sturdy. I plan on covering it initially with duct tape, than worry about plastic or something.

I'm also looking forward to seeing these pictures. If you can take some clean shots and email them to me, I can host them on AtariAge's server if you don't have a place to put them. ..Al
