Albert
I've made some changes to the forum so you no longer need to enter your year of birth in the Birthday field if you'd like to keep your age private. If you go into your profile settings, you can select the first item in the Year drop-down, "--", instead of picking a year. This will still allow people to view your birthday (so you get more presents!) but without revealing your age. If you've been holding out on entering your birthday because of this, now you have nothing to fear! ..Al
+Random Terrain
Can you do it the other way too? I don't mind people knowing the year I was born, but I don't want people knowing the day and month.
Zach
That's cool. I had just put down April 18, 2004 because I did have a birthday on that date. (Fun with Semantics!) Edited April 22, 2005 by Zach

With just the year, you can't even accurately gauge how old someone is. With support now for not entering the year, the code would get even more complex if I tried to change it to allow only the year and handling that case as well as the others. ..Al
sandmountainslim
I think everyone should be FORCED to tell their age, we're not gettin any younger so we should just deal with it
EarthQuake
Agreed. If you want us to celebrate your birthday, we should at least know how old you are.
