vdub_bobby
I posted this in the Homebrew thread, but it seems to fit here as well. Anyway, by coincidence, at the same time Kirk decided to overhaul his PlayerPal, my brother saw it and decided to write his own overhauled version. His is a Java applet and has many of the same features as Kirk's PlayerPal 2.0, but I think it is different enough that it's worth knowing about both of them. So, here's the linky: http://www.wou.edu/~tmontg1/atari/SpriteCr...iteCreator.html Features include: 12 frames from 1 - 20 lines high. All editable at the same time. Select colors (from NTSC palette) for each line of each frame. Will animate for you at wide variety of speeds. Pixel size is (approximately) NTSC (i.e., 1.6:1). Will generate data. Will import data. Anyway, check it out if you please.
