Sega Paradise (Parody of Amish Paradise, by Weird Al.) As I look through my systems where I play my games I take a look at Nintendo and realize They're very plain But that's just perfect for a Sega fan like me You know I burn crappy things like Nintendo's things At 4:30 in the morning I'm playin' Wonder Boy Jebediah plays Atari and Jacob's a Nintendo guy ...(that) fool And I've been playin' and playin' so long that Even Alex Kidd thinks my mind is gone I'm a man of Sega, I'm into Alex Kidd Got a Genesis in my bag and a controller in my hand But if I finish all of Sonic and you finish the Kidd Then tonight we're gonna party like it's 2099 We been spending most our lives Playing in a Sega paradise I've beaten Sonic once or twice Living in a Sega paradise It's hard work but its real fun Living in an Sega paradise We burn Nintendo at no price Living in an Sega paradise A local boy said "Nintendo Rocks" last week I just smiled at him and kicked him in the cheek I really don't care, I don't I wish him well 'Cause I'll be laughing my head off when he's burning in H*** But I ain't never killed a N-man even if he deserved it A Sega fan with a 'tude? You know that's heard of!!!! I got the Sonic shirts and a cool Sega hat And my homies agree It looks cool, with Sonic on the back If you come to visit, you'll be bored to tears, if you're a Nintendo fan We haven't even played Nintendo in 300 years But we ain't really quaint, so please don't point and stare We're just crappy company liking-impaired There's no Nintendo, no not at all Not a single Mario game Like Robinson Caruso Nintendos as primitive as can be We been spending most our lives Living in a Sega Paradise We're just cool and simple guys Living in a Sega Paradise There's no time for Nintendo Living in a Sega Paradise We always fight Nintendo guys Living in a Sega Paradise Hitchin' up the Saturn, Killin' Nintendo Burned a GameCube on Monday, soon I'll burn anutter Think you've beaten Sonic? I Remember Atari (Parody of I Remember Larry. By Weird Al) Say, do you remember old Atari back then? Well, it always was the best thing in town Ms. Pac-man kicked butt, and Yar got his Revenge all around Only 16 colors When you turned it on Games that kicked butt Then went on, on and on. What a crazy thing it was Making money all around Oh, what a system, What an awesome, awesome thing. I'll never forget old Atari, no matter how I try Say do remember when Quotle exploded, And blew into 6 billion pieces? How about when good ol' Pac-man got married And his wife's game was better than his? All those games that were cool All those characters shined When Yar would get fried And Pac-man died... Oh what a system, What an awesome, awesome thing! I'll never forget ol' Atari No matter how I try You know I couldn't help but laugh Even though I died a lot of times Remember when Pac-Man turned into a peel Well, them ghosts got him good that time! Say, do you remember when Sega came along? And they better than Nintendo? Sega had better games, and Nintendo was slime But Nintendo had too many drones Buying thier games all the time But I'm sure if Sega were still with us today Nintendo would die It would be so great and so cool! I love my NES/SNES/Gamecube (or any other console for that matter) just as much as my 2600/5200/Colecovision back in the 70's and 80's. It's all the same. Just play the games you like and there ya go. Who gives a crap who releases it. It's all just games anyway. So the more the merrier! Atari Master Posted February 19, 2002 Share Posted February 19, 2002 I love Sega and all.But i still think Nintendo rules.And if you kick me i'll put you in your freakin coffin.Besides, Sonic is going to the Game Cube.So I guess you can say Sega and Nintendo are buds.Crash Bandicoot is about to crash into the Gameboy Advance. Anyway, Sega did it's share of acomplishments over the years.They'll probably come up with another consoul in a few years so I wouldent worry. Every time they made a console, they either made bad decisions or just got beat by the competition. They were making more money with the software anyways, so... I think they are doing the smart thing - spread all the good games to all the other systems so no one is deprived... Ah ...what about the Genesis? It was on top, in America at least, at the end of the NES' life span. I would count the Genesis as being quite successful. My attention span isnt so great so I only made it thru about a quarter of em...Nintendo aint the only thing that sucks. Sega got out of hardware cause they wanted to and they're doing very well thankyou. Atari died because they were hopelessly run. Nintendo did their own thing and always have done, the cruelest thing they ever did was leave Sony high and dry with their SNES CD-rom add on, and they've already paid dearly for that. How can anyone hate the company that brought Tetris to the greater masses. Why am I even asking this? What the hell has this to do with the 2600 anyway? Well since Nintendo took over the Mariners and Howard Lincoln became CEO they've got a couple of Japanese imports like Kazu and of course Ichiro Suzuki. It seemed to do them well last year when they won the most games in the major leagues (116) but unfortunately got knocked out by the Yankees playing for the world series.
