Heaven/TQA Posted June 26, 2005 Share Posted June 26, 2005 hi guys, you might help me... i am searching the whole stella archive for the river raid 2600 source code... the dig seems off the net so i can't get the source anymore... i want to look into the source to get an idea how they coded the "enemy" engines in terms of handling all the different enemies as they do quite vary... (planes, helicopters, tanks) and all have different attack modes... i have some ideas for my game Boinxx but would look into the code of river raid for inspiration before i put any code together. thanks! I found the following stuff, before ever seeing the original source code (all values in hex): b7: full gauge, ff = full, 00 = empty c0: life counter, 8 units per life (so this decreases by 8 when you lose a life) c6: end of game state, ff = game over, 00 = game not over Steve Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
