Ski Something Games

Hi there!

 

Yesterday I played both Ski Hunt and Ski Run on Z26.

 

While Ski Hunt got more and errors the longer I played it, Ski Run always crushes right after a few seconds.

 

Even though I assume they're both crappy software,(I'd even say they're from the same programmer) I wonder if those games were sold THAT buggy, or if there's some emulation error in Z26 as well.

 

Especially the output of Ski Run must be emulation errors, or?

I don't know, if these games were sold like that, or if the ROMs floating around the net are just bad dumps, but I get the same kind of graphic errors on a real VCS that I get on z26, when I play the ROMs on my Cuttle Cart.

Phew... another Atari Magical Mystery. With some of the games you just can't tell if it's bugs or not. I recall playing another game that seems to do a variable number of scannlines every frame, so the status line at the bottom would constantly jump up and down a few pixels. Hm... sorry, forgot about the name...
