Does anyone remember a department store catalog (I'm going to guess JC Penny's Christmas catalog) that featured Hot Rox on the Atari page? There wasn't a photo, but it was listed on the bottom of the page as coming soon. I begged and pleaded for this game (hell, I begged and pleaded for every new release) but was denied by mom n' dad. Tempest Posted March 27, 2002 Share Posted March 27, 2002 Can't say I remember that one, but in one of the early Atari catalogs you can bearly see a picture of the box. Its the one that has the rows of boxes on the walls and the 2600 with Pac-Man in it in the center. Of course the Pac-Man cart is just as interesting since it appears to be a text label! Your not missing anything BTW, the last Hot Rox proto I saw was byte per byte identicle to Demons to Diamons. The decision to change the name must have been made quite late.
