8th lutz
I am wondering because I saw a picture of it in an issue of Gameinformer. It is was in a 1993 issue with Other summer ces games being shown. It was It seemed strange that I didn't see it in a rumor mill or mentioned about it. It was not in an april issue and gameinformer was not into april fools stiff till the mid 90's. Edited November 30, 2005 by 8th lutz
SteveW
I thought the sequel (in spirit, if not name) was called Guardians of the 'Hood?

But I always liked Guardians of the 'Hood. Got the arcade boardset and everything
Foxsolo2000
I remember back in the 90's reading an ad for a promised Pit Fighter not only for the Mega Drive but for the Master System too. I didn't particularly believe it but then they did port Mortal Kombat to the Master System so I guess anything was possible

I want to say US Gold or Arena did it. Tempest
Mark III
It was indeed ported to the Master System: Though I am unaware of any Direct sequal to Pitfighter on the genesis or otherwise. The_Laird
The SMS version was by Domark who licensed all the Tengen games in the U.K. for consoles and computers. The 7800 proto puts this to shame too! Pit-fighter 2 was a sequal programmed by Domark exclusively for the Megadrive using the same charecters but different scenarios and the abilty to play as the "enemies" but was never released. Who know why????

I figured I had to be an exclusive, since I didn't see or remember it being mention on other systems in the states.
