General Atarian
In search of the adapter that allows me to connect the rf cable to a coax plug to put om my tv, thus allowing my to bypass the box switch box. Can I pick these up at radio shack? Does it help with the picture?

tbfinley2
I have that connector, But I didn't like it. Seemed sloppy to me. You know on back of your TV where you screw in the coax. I wanted this type of connect, so off to Radio Shack I went. I now have those type of connections on my 6 switcher and my Jr.Not a lot of work either. Just need a Soldering gun and cable connector. If you interested on how to do it, email me. My web page
KAZ
What connector didn't you like. I had asked this the RF question myself a while back. I like the Atari 2600, all you need is ONE component for it to screw into the coxial in the back of your TV.... Coaxial (F-type) to Female RCA Adapter Radio Shack part #278-276 It is a tiny little thing, and it works awesomely! No need for switchboxes or anything (unless you want to switch between cable tv and your game), in which case you need that signal spliter, or a generic TV/GAME switch that has a coxial and rabbit ears out of the end of it.
