liquid_sky
First off, I asked here because asking over in hardware can be live sending a letter to the dead letter office. I got a vader 2600 at a garage sale today.. but its kinda frankentined.. See, on the end of the RF, there are 2 of those clippy things that go on old tvs screws, ya know? Well they are soldered on. I want to know the safest way to remove them so I can test the unit out.
ubersaurus
I'd say go to radio shack or wherever and get a new RF cable.

ATARIPITBULL
Why don't you first try to use a soldering gun to melt the old solder off, then use a very fine sand paper to remove whats left before you go and replace the RF cable?
Osbo
yeah, u can do that, or get a little vacuum, melt the lead and then vacuum it, u can get it at radio shack for like 2 bucks OsBo
