If I only had a time machine.

I ordered Vanguard from Atari Age (the paper version!) back in 1982 or '83. I must've been about 10 years old. I still have that cartridge. I remember well that I was deciding between that game and Crazy Climber.

THUNK THUNK THUNK (<---Banging head on desk)

No, no, I'm okay. No problem. I'm glad I had fun playing Vanguard back then. Those are good memories. It's just that they were the same price. But I'm okay. Really.

Actually if I had a time machine, I would have told Atari what to do and what not to do and who knows? maybe Atari would have turned out as big as Microsloth is today and the feds would be putting them though a monopoly trial instead of Microsloth.

I would have tried to convince atari to give programmers more money.. than maybe the exodus wouldn't have happened which yes.. opened the doors to great games.. but slammed the doors open on crap program companies and inferior products...

I should feel guilty... but I will admit it.. I dont. .. when i am in atari mode.. i dont think of wars and nasty stuff.. or I would go back.. and get all the lottos (as posted by someone else).. and use that money for good.. (mostly me.. but I would do some good.. )

wouldn't that alter time so the present time would be different. same thing goes with the helping atari and their programmers stuff you were talking about.

Well, this thread would belong in the Off-Topic forum if it didn't involve Atari.

And second, lighten up. Like if I really had a time machine, I would use it to improve Atari.

If someone went back and helped Atari be as good a company as Nintendo and it still existed today, then this website and message board thread would not be here, and all the great people here would not have met eachother...

"be careful what you wish for.."

If I had a time machine, I'd go back in time 1 second each time....

Then I'd determine how many times I could make 1 second leaps into the past before things start to go wacky

Like when you walk on carpet enough times it starts to wear it out.
