How many hours a week do you spend gaming?

So, just how much time do you spend playing these "video games" we talk about so much?

I play nerby all of time when I'm not programming. On PC, I play much time at the Sims 1.

 

On Gameboy Advance, I play Harvest moon: more friends of Mineral town.

 

On Lynx: Stun Runner, Steel Talons

 

On Gameboy, Ms Pac-man, Super Mario Land, Warioland, Tetris,...

Depends. I am capable of spending more then 10 hours a week at least. It is really up to the games I play. If I play any type of a rpg, I will play more in a week then a platform or a 2d shooter. If it is a game with lots unlock stuff like Sonic gems then I play 10 to 20 hours a week.

If me and my wife do not have any weekend plans or have a random day off, we'l usually play maybe 2-3 hours of games a week. I'll also occasionaly participate in the VCS HSC, but I do not get to play games as much as I used to.

Ever since the baby was born, not as much as I would like to. Before I got married I was constantly playing one system or another but now (sighs theatrically) I am lucky to get any playing time at all

less than I used to in college, that's for sure. Damned "adult" responsibilities seem to get in the way

 

On average 6-10 hours a week, tho as someone else mentioned, if an RPG is on tap it is considerably more. There have been lots of late night sessions with Panzer Dragoon Saga recently

Back in the day when Stores carried New Atari Carts I played into the wee hours of the night 4 or 5 am now Im a School bus driver Im up getting ready for work at 4-5 am Ugh now I got more consoles and games than I can play shame just because a game isnt BRAND new and the new thing doesnt mean its a bad game Just wish there were more hours in a day to play

Less than 5 hours, because someone else is always hogging the TV and it's too much trouble to connect the VCS to the other one.

Lately, it's been way less than 5 hours. The weird thing is that for me, time isn't much of an issue - I could theoretically manage to squeeze in 25-30 hours a week, and often did in the past. But for a while now, I've been more interested in random netsurfing than in gaming. I'm not sure why.

At one time I played Kaboom! 6 hours a day, but that didn't last long.

I chose 5-10 , I normally play for an hour or so at night before bed and on the weekends if the wife is working or out shopping I might play 3 or so hours per day.

I never liked RPGs. The days when they first came out was around the same time I stopped playing videogames. If the game didn't keep score, I wasn't interested. The closest I ever got to an RPG was Super Mario Bros.

Not that much right now, actually. Maybe 30 minutes a day.

On the other hand, if I stumble onto a game I really like, I will play the life out of it for hours, then eventually burn out and take a break from any gaming for a while.

I'm in the 5-10 hour catagory. It's been an even split between star wars battle front 2 and phoenix wright for the past month or so.

5-10 hours. I think it's usually about six. It's usually all on one or two days of the week too.

well i'm not in work right now so i put up 40 plus hours on my gaming

about 40 plus hours playing final fantasy 7 on playstation

2 hour on atari 2600 mix of many games

1 hour on sega genesis mix of games

1 hour on n64 playing mix of games

i don't play pc as much maybe 2 hours a month.

I usually get alot of time in gaming. My fiancee and I work opposite shifts, so there isn't much to do other than game. I dont play too much else right now other than World of Warcraft. I just cant seem to put it down.
