General Atarian
Anyone know of any places that sell atari games? I know of a few but they have been really dry lately. Any ideas? Thanks
AlanD
Get used to it. There are about 10 collectors in the area and a lot of them have 'locks' on the thrifts. Unless you go every day you won't find a great amount of stuff. I have pretty much just given up on thrifting for carts in this area and have branched out into other things or getting things online. General Atarian
Dry is the main Idea here. I used to be able to do rounds on the weekend and find good hits at, at least half of my shops and such, but withinthe last 3 weeks all the thrift stores seem to to be saying "sumguy" just bought them. or "We had a unit with 60 games just sold a few hours ago". Man, Am I getting sick of that. Maybe I should be putting these thrift store guys on the payroll.
Trey
In Hampton Roads, there used to be 2 places on Jefferson Ave that sold Atari games. This was a few years ago and haven't been in awhile. At the time, all games were $1. The 2 places are within a mile of each other. The first is called "King Flea" and a little farther down is "The Flea Market". For exact directions, go to http://www.searchbug.com and search on flea malls. It will return addresses of various places. Those 2 places supplied about 99% of my 200+ collection.
