Get used to it. There are about 10 collectors in the area and a lot of them have 'locks' on the thrifts. Unless you go every day you won't find a great amount of stuff. I have pretty much just given up on thrifting for carts in this area and have branched out into other things or getting things online.

Dry is the main Idea here. I used to be able to do rounds on the weekend and find good hits at, at least half of my shops and such, but withinthe last 3 weeks all the thrift stores seem to to be saying "sumguy" just bought them. or "We had a unit with 60 games just sold a few hours ago". Man, Am I getting sick of that.

Maybe I should be putting these thrift store guys on the payroll.

In Hampton Roads, there used to be 2 places on Jefferson Ave that sold Atari games. This was a few years ago and haven't been in awhile. At the time, all games were $1.

The 2 places are within a mile of each other. The first is called "King Flea" and a little farther down is "The Flea Market". For exact directions, go to http://www.searchbug.com and search on flea malls. It will return addresses of various places.

Those 2 places supplied about 99% of my 200+ collection.
