Like the new Doctor Who which debuts tonight, so does the second season of what is possibly the best animated series that airs in the US. To me Avatar went from simply good to great was on the last show of last season. The one where the Fire Nation is bent on conquering The Northern Water Tribe. First of all every scene is a work of art, the animation is amazing, the backgrounds stunning. But the writting on that show is simply fair above anything you can see anywhere else. The mixture of magic (IE bending skills), spritually, belief in self purpose, and strong sense of what is just plain right. Went beyond at least to me, what an animated kids series on Nick should be. So do yourself a favor and watch both shows
