It's hard to mourn a web site, even harder if it was your first choice in finding cheat codes. Not the actual codes themselves, the ones you directly use on the game. But those kind of codes you use for those little cheat devices, like the Game Genie, or Game Shark. For your average gamer, or your even less than average gamer, these codes made

a difference. Putting you on a level with the best of gamer. Such a site was GS CENTRAL.COM origially started as the Code Creator Club. It was more than just a site for codes, but a collection of gamers all of whom were masters in creating codes. Not for todays systems, even though some like the lastest RPG had 1000s of codes, many of which you would never see the light of day on your standard gamer site. Such codes, as giving you acess to weapons only found in later levels in the game, or even magic spells that make you equal to the same fighting power as the final boss in the game. Others let you hit run, and you would instatly win. But the site was more than just codes for RPGers. They also had many a code for all type of games, and as just as many a codes as there were cheat devices. They even had new codes for the game cheat device made for the 3DO. It was one remarkable site, and too see it literally vanish around Thanksgiving of last year. I still find myself still in shock about that. Of how a site that had been around since I believe 1995 suddenly vanish without a trace. No I can not accept that fact.

 

Therefore I find myself in a rather an odd position, in fact one I had no plans at first of ever finding myself in the first place. I know the net is a big place for both good and bad. But I am now overseeing the rebirth of the gscentral.com. Although it is nothing offical, in fact I am doing this totally on my own, and am asking anyone who has ever submitted codes to GS Central.com or have ever gotten codes there. To send email them to me at classy_ge@hotmail.com , But be sure to put the codes in the body of the email. Make the subject line "CCC". The only condiction is that they can not be found on such game sites as gamewinners.com . To what I will do with these codes even I am unsure for now. I may just include them within my blog. But only time will tell and the coperation I get from my fellow gamers. I, if I get enough of these, may even restart gscentral.com but with another name possibly Code Traders. It seems my ISP offers web sites to it's members. But who knows.
