M.U.L.E.

 

Too easy - no competition. That game has the staying power and can keep you entertained for the combined time that you'd play the others in succession and get sick of them (maybe except for HHGTTG).

Other great titles would be Joust & Archon.

Spy Hunter, beats Hitchikers due to graphics, sound and the ability for a "quick fix". Hitchikers is bloody funny though.

I'm really suprised that M.U.L.E. isn't higher. It and Archon are the 2 games that keep the Atari 800 on my desk at all times. Likewise I'm suprised by the showing that Donkey Kong has, especially since it's available on so many other platforms.
