Inky
This has been done for every other platform, so here goes.. What's your 3 fav. ST games? 1) Archipelagos (duh) 2) I'd say the ST version of Crystal Castles 3) And finally Falcon
Albert
Ahhh, the Atari ST. Well, hands down my favorite ST game has to be Dungeon Master. This game really paved the way for many games to follow, such as the Eye of the Beholder series on the PC, which was a blatent ripoff of Dungeon Master (I can't believe they didn't get sued!) I also played and enjoyed quite a few other titles on the ST, but Dungeon Master sticks out in my mind as the one I enjoyed the most.. ..Al
AtariDude
My favorite of the ST games would be: (1) Dungeon Master - One of the best RPGs ever made (2) Defender of the Crown - Good sound and graphics and it was fun to storm castles with a lot of knights! There were a lot of other games that I enjoyed but the 2 above really stood out from all the other games.
AtariDude
I completely forget Captain Blood! This was one of the most unique games ever made and the best version was written for the Atari ST. There was versions for the Amiga and PC but they were poor versions compared to the Atari ST version. If you want to find out more, you can visit this site: http://argnet.fatal-design.com/bluddian.htm This site has a lot of information on the game. +Zeptari
This one's easy! 1. Dungeon Master - Played this game to death! Many thanks to my good old friend Guy for showing me this gem. 2. Xenon 2: Megablast....The first cool shooter I played...What a jump it was going from River Raid to this! The music was simply amazing for it's day! 3. Degas - Hey i know it's not a game. But jezzz i spent more time doodling in Degas paint then both the top 2 games combind. Great stuff...well untill Dpaint came along... Hulsie
I also am going to have to mark Dungeon Master as my favorite ST game, followed closely by Maniac Mansion, and finally, Deja Vu. Has anyone ever played DM's sequel Chaos Strikes Back? Geez, that game's ridiculously hard!
Gregory DG
Gotta go with Dungeon Master as well. It was the "Killer-app" for the ST for me. #2 would be Llamatron and #3 would be Starball.
LinkoVitch
ERK! thats a major tough one.. But I will have to go for: 1) Captive 2) IK+ 3) Dungeon Master Starglider and Interphase.. oh and Cybercon 3 were also pretty cool
Inky
Starglider 2 was more astounding than 1, IMHO, but one was good... For some strange reason I was addicted to Universal Military Simulator..
RucasRiot
Okay here goes. 1. OZONE!!!!!!!! 2. Downfall 3. STF Balls 4. Kaboom by Dave Munsie 5. Starball 6. Time Bandit 7. Plotting 8. Sim City 9. Dungeon Master 10. Chain Reaction I know it was supposed to be 3 games but I couldn't choose!
Gunstar
So far my favorites are: Dungeon Master/Chaos strikes back Interphase Armour-Geddon Infestation Lotus III the Ultimate Challenge Commando/roughnecks International Karate I have Archipilago, but I don't have instructions and can't really figure out what's going on...I've learned to build land-bridges to get around and pick up those rocks or seeds or whatever, but that's about it...strange game. I'd love to try out Cybercon 3, but I've yet to find a copy that winzip doesn't say "this is not an official zip archive" and refuse to unzip so I can try it! LinkoVitch
Hey Inky... what about Oids? OO Speedball 2 was excellent, except nobody would play me after I started scoring one goal and then trying to kill all their team
Inky
I love Oids but for some reason I never mention it... I need to fire up STeem and play it again..

LinkoVitch
I don't believe I forgot Populous! I remeber when I first got that I did an 18 hour stint where I didn't blink! Pop 2 was excellent, especially wiping out the entire Evil army by torching trees
DanBoris
I didn't play a whole lot of games on my ST by my three favorites where probably: 1. Sundog 2. Time Bandit 3. Rouge Dan
Inky
I had a hard time with time bandit. couldn't figure it out. Populous kicked major leauge butt! And Sim City on the ST wasted many hours for me! I loved some of hte games Dave Munsie did, like Frantick and Berzerk...
LinkoVitch
I coulnd't figure out Time Bandit either, I remeber reading reviews of it in Atari Mags and it sounded ace, was put off with the way the main char was Yellow as though he had dropped off a speccy game Civilisation was another classic when that came out on the ST, that wasted a lot of my time .. Goochman
Time Bandit was cool since it combined a number of different game scenarios into the landscape keeping you on your toes! It was the first ST game I got. I also played Artic Fox alot even though it was a bit slow.

Kostas
Hello to eneryone! My name is kostas from Greece and I'm an owner of a 520ST since 1989! I started programing in 1986 and for the last ten years I have completely forgoten this machine. Nowdays I discover again my Atari and that brings a feeling of joy to me. Does anyone of you remember a game called "North and South"? by Infogrames? Do you remember earlier games such us "Bombjack"? But my favorite was the "R-Type" and "Blood money" by Psygnossis. My super-power PC looks cold infront of my Atari. Be well!! :
LinkoVitch
heh. North and South! what an Excellent game! forgot about that one too! Blood money was cool. For a real blast from the past how about TerrorPods? Excellent game from Psygnosis, I was REALLY impressed with that. May actually dig that out again and give it another play
Maarten Martens
There are excellent reviews of Bombjack and North and South up at my site. With great screenshots, manuals and more. I'm sure every ST freak likes it! Give it a try if you're interested, it will bring back some memories! Greetz,
