You know, instead of being assholes, someone could have offered to have Cody take regular film pictures and send them through the mail. Matter of fact, I'll do just that. If Cody is willing to send me some prints, I'll scan them and upload them.

There is no asshole comments here at all. The guy is full of shit in all regards. Just look at any of he other posts for confirmation.

Nobody here has made any undeserved personal attacks toward Codysgames. He's earned any sarcasm -- apparently you haven't seen the other thread (2600 Heavy-sixer with built-in speakers...) in which he goes on about this supposedly unique console. Post #7 above is somewhat cryptic when taken only in context of this thread, but if you read the other one you'll see that it looks like a misplaced response. If you view all of his posts, you'll notice that #10 in this thread is his second-to-last, from about 2 weeks ago. I think he's too embarrassed to admit his error and has either left AA or created another identity.

Oh, come on. EVERY 2600 ever made has vents in the top, including 4-switchers. My older brother thought they were speaker holes when he first saw them, but I told him they were probably just heat vents or something. Well, guess who was right :D.

Originally the Atari 2600 was going to have similar design features to the dedicated consoles (Pong, Super Pong, Stunt Cycle...etc.) and was original planned to have speakers incorporated into the design, Douglas Hardy, one of the Atari 2600 Industrial designers incorporated the speaker openings into the 1977 design.

However the final production design brought the audio out through the TV instead and never used any form of internal speakers, there was never a built production system that had accommodations on the PCB for internal speakers and no units were ever made - anyone claiming to have such has either rigged up their own mod/hack or is flat out fibbing.
