  1. Choosing two of my favorite zones each from Sonic 1,2, and Knuckles Sonic 1: Green Hill Zone, Marble Zone Sonic 2: Emerald Hill Zone, Hill Top Zone Sonic & Knuckles: Sandopolis Zone, Lava Reef Zone
  2. Thanks so much for the ROMS and manuals. And a Happy and Healthy New Year to all of you!!!
  3. No doubt Axelay is a top 16-bit shooter and one of the few excellent shooters on the SNES. Like Gunstar Heroes for the Genesis, it's too bad a sequel was never made.
  4. It's something like 5 years ago at this time that Retro-bit and Sega announced a new Nomad prototype. Another one for the "vaporware" column in video game history. Reminds me back in the early 90's when a SNES CD-ROM was announced...
  5. Enjoying my top 3 Sega Genesis games today: Gunstar Heroes Sonic 2 NHL '94
  6. Frogger - Genesis Sonic 3 - Genesis Madden 93 - Genesis (got a punt block for TD by Miami against Dallas) Madden 93 Miami72 vs Dallas77 Punt Block for TD.avi
  7. This was played on the Kega Fusion emulator last night. Didn't feel like setting up a Genesis system and wanted a little Sonic 1 playtime before shutting down my PC. The original Sonic The Hedgehog on the Genesis is one of my Top 5 video games of all time to this day and I have the original cart with along with the system in its box from Dec. '92 (bought from Electronics Boutique for $119.95). As for MUSHA (also among my Top 5 video games), I owned two original copies complete in box and sold them for a few hundred $ each probably around 10 years ago. I got very lucky acquiring one copy as I bought a Genesis system (complete in box) with a dozen or so games all complete in box and MUSHA and Mega Turrican were included. I paid around $100 for it all from a local guy who was moving and he posted it on Craigslist. That was a very rare stroke of luck because that haul would easily go for a good $700 today, if not much higher. I do, however, own a Repro copy of MUSHA with its box, manual, and extras that I bought about five years ago from a guy who was doing high-quality reproductions of Genesis games using the standard ROM boards, not the Chinese-junk thicker boards that can damage the cartridge slot and as far as i'm concerned it's as good in every way as the original MUSHA cart. I paid something like $20 for it. Here's a few pics of it...
  8. It's Sega Genesis night! MUSHA Rolling Thunder 2 Sonic The Hedgehog 1 (look at this marvelous pic from Zone 3 of the Starlight Zone!)
  9. Is anyone doing Mattel handheld game repairs?
  10. GamePro was a very good magazine too. Many copies is the early 1990's were huge and covered lots of games in an issue...
  11. Electronic Gaming Monthly. Mostly the 1992, 1993, and 1994 issues when the Genesis and SNES were in heated competition and the games were pouring into the market. EGM had the best layout, reviews, and images of the 16-bit games and hardware. I still have mine from those years and look back at them periodically and have been motivated to try games I never played before. Here's a few images...
  12. River Raid: Atari 2600 NHL '94: Sega Genesis Sonic The Hedgehog 1: Sega Genesis
