  1. It really depends on the 7800. Some play pretty much everything others have more issues. The list above are games that frequently have issues but that doesn't mean your 7800 won't play them. Mitch
  2. It is missing the left shift key cap. Here's a pic. Also has the 48K RAM upgrade. Both upgrades were done before I purchased it. It has an Atari Service sticker on the bottom, so the upgrades may have been done by an Atari Service Center. I have not opened it. I have the original keyboard, which I will include. I don't have the power supply, I think it was missing when I bought it. I tested it using the power supply from my Atari 800. Everything seems to be working correctly. Played a few games, hit every key on the keyboard in memo pad. RF is pretty clean. Shipping could be a little expensive depending on where you live. If you want it, make me an offer. Thanks, Mitch
  3. I have one somewhere. I think the keyboard is missing one of the keycaps though. If you are interested I can try and dig it up. Mitch

    2800?

Or by a 2800 from Mexico and not worry about any of that. Mitch
  5. The early version of the CX22 did not have the switch and was joystick mode only. It is not very common though. Mitch

    2800?

Also sold in Mexico as the 2800. Mitch
  7. If you have an OTG cable and a USB keyboard can you use the USB keyboard for the touchpad in Star Raiders? Mitch
  8. Here a link to an old forum thread with some interesting information. https://forums.atariage.com/topic/203928-who-owns-the-imagic-brand-these-days/ There's a link in that thread to an even older thread with some more information. Mitch
  9. I am assuming this was after a firmware update from the original version? Try changing the difficulty switches. Mitch
  10. I think there were a few Atari dealers that imported it. Like Best and B&C, but that could have been after the 7800 was discontinued. I should find my boxed CX78 and see what is the date on it. Mitch
  11. I was looking at the listing for the new CX78+ and it says "Based on the gamepad included with the European version of the Atari 7800 released in 1987". The problem is that the "European" 7800 wasn't released until 1989. Mitch
  12. I thought Missing in Action also used artifacting. But it has been a while since I messed with it in an emulator. Yes, it is very timing sensitive. When I was building carts of it many years ago I found that certain combinations of the PROM and GAL chips would crash the game. I would let a cart run in the demo mode for a minute or two. If it didn't crash I knew it was good to go. You shouldn't need to pull the label to check the cart board version. You should be able to tell by the via's on the end of the cart board. See here: https://atarihq.com/danb/7800cart/C300565.shtml and here: https://atarihq.com/danb/7800cart/C100339.shtml Mitch
  13. Just curious if the composite smoothing fix works on 7800 Missing In Action? The crashing issue may be similar to 7800 Crossbow. I seem to remember that Crossbow was shipped on two different cart boards. C300565 and C100339. Maybe one is dumping correctly and the other is not working? The 2600 Signal Tracing Cart does not show a screen or even have a ROM. It is only a circuit board with a few components designed to put certain signals on the bus so that testing/repairs can be made on a 2600 system board. Mitch
  14. And Wikipedia is wrong, nothing new there. Pole Position 2 was part of the 1984 test market release. Mitch
