  1. Perfect transaction, solid packaging, fast shipping, great communication. Thanks again!
  2. Purchased a sealed Berenstain Bears and it was delivered right away in perfect condition. Thanks! -Dain
  3. Very well packed, thanks!
  4. I own that site and even I'm a little let down
  5. (cross posted on DP as well) Hey guys, I'm looking to buy the following Gameboy boxes and manual, along with prices I'm willing to pay. I'm also open for trades and have many duplicates to offer up. Simpson's: Itchy & Scratchy (need box only) - $100 Wayne's World (need box only) - $75 Ninja Boy 2 (need box and manual) -$80 These 4 items will complete my US Gameboy collection, so help a fellow collector out! -Dain I don't have any feedback on AA, but I do on eBay as "nintendo_age" and on NintendoAge.com, here: http://www.nintendoage.com/index.cfm?FuseAction=Users.Feedback&User=Dain
  6. I'm not too concerned because I just signed up under the name Howard instead. So I guess it's not that big of a deal. If you change your mind, just let me know.
  7. I hadn't heard of any trouble with this, but I'll definitely check it out, thanks! To my knowledge, myself and a guy named Angelo have been the only owners of the site name since May, 2002. I purchased the domain during that time but failed to do anything with it, so Angelo snatched it up as it expired. A few years later in 2006, I bought it back from him. If Al owned it, it would've been before that time. Correct, it is/was an homage to AtariAge, one of the inspirations for the site originally. NintendoFunClub.com was already taken (and still is), and that, ironically, was one of my early ideas. I chose NintendoAge for one simple reason: I thought that people would come to AtariAge, love it, and say, "Hmm... I wonder if there's a similar site for Nintendo, maybe I should try NintendoAge.com?" It's not conspiratorial in nature, just an attempt to piggyback off this site's popularity to get the ball rolling. I would be happy to remove that account for you since they haven't logged in for 3 years. Just send me an email to webmaster@nintendoage.com if you're serious about joining and I'll hook you up. Welcome to the site! At any rate, we're not Nintendo Nazis at NA, so we welcome anyone who loves vintage gaming as much as we do. I've actually caught a bit of the Atari buy myself recently after purchasing a Harmony cart at the Portland Expo!
  8. It was great getting to meet you, Albert. I also posted up a few pics if anyone wants to check them out: http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=7&threadid=23750
  9. I picked one of these up at the expo and it's incredible. I'm using mine on a 2600 Jr., 2 GB Kingston MicroSD w/o problems. The only issue I had was seeing the fading text of the game titles in the menus, which made it kinda hard to read. Other than that, I've been thrilled with my cart (#4)! -Dain
  10. We still need more vendors! Two big reasons why you should consider showing up: We have commercials running in Knoxville on Sci-Fi, Cartoon Network, G4, Comedy Central and Spike a whopping 387 times over two weeks leading up to the Expo, so if you're a vendor on the rails, you should really show up! Send me an email at info@ageexpo.com if you're interested or reserve your tables at www.ageexpo.com. We are also sending out press releases to the local Knoxville TV and radio stations about the announcement of our honorary guest, Thor Aackerlund (Thor was the guy who won the Nintendo World Championships 1990). He hasn't made a public appearance in 18 years and hasn't done an interview in 16 years -- AGE Expo 2008 will be his first appearance since 1990. -Dain
  11. I don't think he was being an a-hole about it at all. You weren't making a statement as to "if" it was missing at all -- you were crapping on his thread, and that's rude.
  12. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know which game you're talking about, but I bet someone on NintendoAge.com would know -- might try posting your Q there.
