  1. Would love to see AA get back to issuing new Christmas Carts each year!
  2. YES! Would love to see Vector Battlezone 7800 Bob!
  3. Ok, a few more if you'll indulge me: 2600 On the marketing front, lean into adding your new PLUS "+" TM to enhanced or supped up games! What about "XP+" Enhanced Circus Atari+ (didn't someone already enhance it here on AA? Contract with them and give it the XP treament!) Enhanced Combat+ (1 player) XP treatment Enhanced Gunslinger+ (1 player) XP treatment 7800 Arkanoid (or convert PacManPlus' Crazy Bricks to an official Atari paddle release) PONG Side scroller - What about that side scrolling Pong that was supposed to release on Amico? Unfinished Amico Titles - Are there any other Amico titles Atari was working with them on that would work on the 7800? Driving Driving Driving games on the 7800! Fire Truck... speaking of driving games (Atari IP --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_Truck_(video_game) ) TRON (partner with Disney when Tron 3 comes out... the move is moving forward again) https://hollywoodnorthbuzz.com/2023/12/tron-3-withjared-leto-ramps-up-production-again-in-vancouver-for-january-start.html. (Someone on AA had a working version with joystick and paddle combo controls I seem to recall)
  4. WOW!!! Where do I start? I've been reading all your wonderful ideas and these are top of mind. Some of these are new, some already discussed, but added for additional endorsement. Admittedly, some are way-out-there wishes, but you asked, Ben! Sorry for the longish post... 1. Obvi, the top tier programmers and artists on AA creating / enhancing games. Top of mind: anything by Homebrew programmers you can contract with on: PacManPlus, Thomas J, Spiceware, Champ Games + artwork by Nathan S. Enhanced games with OmegaMatrix's menus (why not do this with a 7800 multi-cart in addition to 2600? 2. 2600: Medieval Mayham - Deluxe XP packaging that it deserves Man Falls Down More Paddle Games! More Driving Games! 2 player games with 1 player options SwordQuest multi-pack - XP packaging (obvi Crazy Climber - XP packaging (since this was an OG mail order, many don't have nor have the box) Obelix and Asterix multi cart - XP packaging (hard to get since released late and mainly Canada / EU release) Sports - How about contracting Champ Games with the new sports titles they are already working on?! Lunar Lander (contract with Champ Games with their game already in-dev) 3. 7800: Missile Command 7800 (enhanced compatible/designed for both joystick and trackball) Tempest 7800 Time Crisis 7800 - Light games even possible? Would love this with new light guns! (I realize this shoot the moon territory) Circus Atari 7800 - Rerelease of PacManPlus (with Deluxe XP packaging) Outlaw 7800 (updated XYPE Gunfight for 7800?) Major Havoc 7800 Track and Field 7800 Super cool Kaboom-like paddle game for 7800 New Breakout-like paddle side scroller for 7800 7800 versions of Night Driver, Sprint, Indy 500 (compatible with both joysticks or Driving Controllers...we could play on either the 2600+ or OG 7800) Any 7800 protos not finished/released (e.g. Sirius, Plutos, etc) I'll stop there as I'm sure there's more but these are what I got after 1st Sat am cup of coffee. Oh, I'd love to win, but if not and John Hancock wins, I'll gladly take his prize! haha
  5. What is this forum topic again? Wow, we are really not in Kansas anymore!
  6. And yet, using the Vinyl analogy from the Atari rep, there are still, however, $1K turntables which hardcore Vinyl collectors do purchase...so there is also niche markets that may be profitable as well!
  7. Dear @TrogdarRobusto - My 2 cents after reading the first 40 pages of this thread, it's crystal clear (whether required by law, license, or not, considering the history of Atari back in the day not acknowledging programmers) the morally correct course of action is a nice big fat donation to the Stella dev along with public recognition in the packaging/specs.
  8. Curious then why Outlaw (with no perceived or stated game changes/enhancements)?
  9. I guess AtariAge truly is the Meaning of Life!
  10. Agreed! Gunfight is just sooo much better. I'm failing to see the need for Outlaw XP at all! Wonder where Atari is going their focus group surveys (if any are done at all!) Sheesh!
  11. Brad Vargovick Kaboomer Chicago, IL Thanks so much Al!
  12. 1. So what are the odds are Atari will announce additional carts for purchase before November? 2. I'm also very curious what the other 6 games might be on the 10-in-1 cart? Same with the 4-in-1 Paddle games. Surely they wouldn't just leave them blank?! Maybe I'm the only one thinking this out loud...
  13. Well, you know what we're probably getting Christmastime 2024 then... a 7800 HW version of this with a 10x 7800 multi-cart! Oh boy...
  14. There are also a bunch of new HW in their Shop. New Paddles. Berzerk (Enhanced) and standard Run and Jump. Very interesting! https://atari.com/collections/atari-2600-plus
