Does anyone out there know how to get a complete copy of the 2600 or 7800 circuit schematic diagram? I would like to know all the electrical components on each board, a full parts list if possible. I want to create a handheld version on my own, like others are doing right now, just for the experience of doing it. I'm tying to see if; 1. Its possible that I can do it. 2. Gain the experience of circuit design. 3. learn more about the creation of the Atari units. 4. Just have fun doing it! Thanks everyone! Joe

Ok everyone, how many people out there are trying, have tried, or have succeded in building a handheld 2600, 5200, or 7800??? Please let me know, or contact me! I want to create one myself and I think it would be great to get a forum going. Lets make it possible.

What makes this such a great concept is the fact that there are multi-game carts for sale still. I know there is a cart for sale that holds 256 games-in-one. Now this makes the 2600 portable a GREAT idea!! So, however many people, myself included, who want to create a portable 2600, 5200 or even a 7800 for that matter, I say more power to them. KEEP ATARI ALIVE!!!!!
