  1. Thanks, A.J., thats what I figured. Will a TIA out of a 4 or 6 switch woody work in a Jr.?
  2. Hopefully someone can help me out with this one. I've got a Atari Jr. that has a strange color problem. Certain colors display fine, but for the most part, everything is black and white (or shades of gray actually). For example, in Adventure, Yellow displays fine (gold castle, sword etc), but everything else is like the black and white switch is on B&W (Its not, I double checked ). Its not just Adventure, any game I've tried has the same problem, the only commonality is the colors that work. I've opened the unit and don't see anything big time out of wack. Any help is appreciated.
  3. The only thing I'd be confident about is that I'd be getting a non-working pile of junk and a non-responsive seller.
  4. What are the stats for the power LED on the Model 1 Genny (Size, Voltage etc)? I'm trying to replace one that I broke the leads off of trying to take the connector off to clean the case. I bought a Radio Shack 2.6VDC 28mA 10mcd and it lights and the Genny will work, but it seems to be locking up after a few mins (5 - 10) of play. I'm wondering if the new LED is pulling too much power and causing issues. I'm trying a different cart now in case my Road Rash is causing the problems. Thanks for any help, Marty
  5. I was pulling apart my NES controllers last night and noticed the rubber "spring" for the buttons was split around the base. I'd like to rebuild the controller if possible. Is there any replacements for the rubber parts in the NES controller. Little tip for everybody. If you strip a screw in the back of the controller trying to take them apart, you can (carefully) use a 3/32" bit to drill out the head so you can at least remove the back. Now I just have to drill out the screw and find a replacement (yes, I'm anal about this stuff). Thanks!
  6. I'm still looking for both a 128 and AV cable for a 64.
  7. I'm looking for a Commodore 128 computer. I'm also looking for a A/V cable for a Commodore 64 C. I'm willing to pay cash or trade for eaither. I've got a Sega Game Gear and 4 games I'd be willing to trade. The Game Gear has no power supply, but does work off batteries fine. The 4 games are: MLBPA Baseball Sonic 2 NBA Jam Mortal Combat I've also got a few NES games: Blades Of Steel The Black Bass R.C. Pro-Am Thanks
  8. A friend and I have just started playing Knight Online and I'm pretty impressed with it. It doesn't have the "polish" that EQ does, but its still very good.
  9. I don't think the white ones are very rare. I've seen quite a few on eBay. I've got a boxed one sitting in the closet.
  10. They made it for the C64 also. I've still got a copy staring me in the face from the pile of C64 stuff I pulled out of storage a year ago and is still sitting in my living room...
  11. Must remember to preview before submitting. Try this again.
  12. Found an auction for Z-Trac. Guess where they got the cart picture from? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...tem=8120270194> Auction Marty
  13. I'll agree on the Activision games. They did put out some of the best games for system. My personal favs are Keystone Kapers, River Raid and Dragster. Some other must haves (IMHO) are Asteroids, Space Invaders, Yar's Revenge and Adventure. Ms. Pac-Man is also nice to have. Marty
  14. I've had the idea of designing / building display cases for carts, but just have not had the time to get around to actually doing it. I don't think it would be that difficult to do, but I've never worked with acrylic so I could be totally wrong. Marty
  15. I'm a hybrid sniper. If there isn't already a bid, I'll put in a proxy not quite as high as I'm willing to go. If I get out bid, then I'll go into snipe mode.
