It took only slightly more than four years but you can expect this one fixed in the nearest Atari800 release. 🙂

8-bit tools (and their modern counterparts) have far less gotchas than 16-bit ones. For starters, C compilers used to be really stupid and allowed unthinkable things to write (and to work!). Throwing a source code from the 80s at the latest gcc and trying to fix it may be harder than basically just reading the code and rewriting it from scratch. Typical traps: 16-bit ints, different function bindings, different struct members, assuming order of instructions, ignoring the need of volatile and so on and so on. Way easier just to acquire the original compiler and one by one to update the code to at least ANSI C.

Nice! Btw Linux did contain similar code but it is (AFAIK) either disabled or not longer working in recent kernels. So if you could improve that as well, that would be awesome!

I don't know if it isn't too much to ask but could you guys try that "Reset PIN" option, whether it does something for you? I wish there was a way to show the stored PIN in the VCS settings. 😞

Has anyone tried this app recently? I have two issues with it: - I can't login. It says that my PIN is incorrect. While unlikely, it's possible of course. How do I show my pin in the VCS then? I can get to my profile and see it asterisk'ed - I also tried the PIN reset. That's even more frustrating, it just says that something went wrong..

Hmm, from a quick look I'd say this is original Atari ST sources already adapted to IBM PC, with any m68k files removed. Some files are missing even for x86, like screen handling. Watching your project with interest.

I wonder how the guys pulled this one off. The list is full of Atari classics and then an indie game made in a few weeks. (nothing against it, love it, I just find it a huge success on their side!)

Fingers crossed, guys. I'd love to find someone with working sound on Hades to make sure that my XBIOS routines work properly there (they should but you never know).

Neither Hades nor Milan outperform CT60 Falcon. Its 060 is clocked at a lower speed, bus access is less efficient and RAM access is also slower. The only category where they shine is accelerated graphics thanks to Milan VDI and NOVA VDI but then again, you can install NOVA also in Falcon.
