J-F, I've just stumbling in here and am happy/sad to hear about you heading off in a new - thankfully still Colecovision related - direction. The retroillucid-era of CollectorVision stands as a high-water mark for the entire homebrew scene. Hats off to you, Sir. Those last 5 years seemed to just fly by, it seems like just yesterday this message landed in my inbox (from Luc, August 5, 2008):
"...As a side note, if you are a ColecoVision homebrew game collector, a
friend of ours is selling a brand new ColecoVision game named "Mr Chin",
with box and manual. We have been able to try it ourselves and it's a very
nice game. If you wish to purchase a copy, please join the AtariAge forums
(if you haven't already) and send a private message to "retroillucid"."
Needless to say, I took Luc's advice. Congratulations buddy, you had an epic run. I'm looking forward to your new projects and am glad Tobie is keeping the CollectorVision dream alive.
Glad to see you back in the game Philipp, I've always been a fan. I wasn't aware of different versions of Cye. Could you share where v1.1 were sold (online? Convention?) and how many copies were sold? Thanks. I'll definitely be getting your latest games as they become available.
