#2456670 Phear

Posted by BuddyBuddies on Wed Feb 1, 2012 5:19 AM

Lots of games were finished completely and lost, Ishar 3, Highlander 2 , Highlander 3, Kid Grid , Country Grid, Tinhead, Creature Shock, and many others.. The demo was shown of Phear so i'm sure it was atleast somewhat completed. Nintendo would have seen what they were paying for. Truth is the ROM is most likely buried for legal reasons.

#2279214 AirCars: is this one fake ?

Posted by BuddyBuddies on Fri May 13, 2011 9:57 AM

Its worth $45 dollars... if you look closely it says "b&c" on it , you can still buy them from myatari. Its the same as the ICD versions, just has a crappy label. "JAGUAR RULES!"

Jag CD won't let you play ROMs. No multicarts have been released. The only simple/cheap option for playing ROMs is the skunkboard, but it won't play everything.

Basically you have to go buy the games, but beware there's plenty of pretty ordinary & over-priced stuff in the Jaguar library.

+1

#2180057 NEW RELEASE: Tiny Toons Final + TT030 Backup

Posted by BuddyBuddies on Mon Jan 10, 2011 11:36 PM

Any chance that just the Tiny Toon Adventures cartridge will be made available again? Would someone like B&C Computervision be allowed to produce more of the cartridges? I'm not really interested in the early beta versions of the other games on the CD. All I'm interested in is Tiny Toons on a cartridge. Something in the $40 to $50 range would be perfect.

This will be discussed more in the coming months, but there is a good chance it will see another run.

#2131297 Cortina board for sale on eBay

Posted by BuddyBuddies on Sat Nov 6, 2010 7:30 PM

$5k, seriously?

I paid $500 for that almost a decade ago and let it go for roughly the same amount. (if not less)
Hard to see something of that nature worth anything near the asking price. I guess that's because it isn't.
On a good day maybe $1,200, $1,500 at most considering it has the schematic. $5k is an insult.

Where the hell are these ridiculous prices coming from.

:ponder:

Coming from the guy who sold the Blue/Grey VR headset for like $2k then complains when it goes for like $20k later , i think i see a pattern here.

There are only 2 of these Cortinas known to exist and i paid a very high price to acquire it. Things like this are really worth only what somebody is willing to pay in the collector market.

What is an insult is having you follow me around on different forums adding your two cents about my auctions. Dont be mad at me because you sold your Jaguar items a decade ago and they seem to be worth 1,000 times what you sold them for now in todays market.

Not sure why you have a grudge against me lately....:?

Removing the CD-Audio and the cutscenes, it would be entirely possible to make this a cart release, with the HUGE added advantage of never having to go near the god-damned CD unit.

No read errors. Lightning fast loading. Hrmmm... :)

Maybe two versions?

Im thinking 2 versions is a must!!!

There's been a topic about most things posted in the Jaguar forums in the past, including topics about those topics. We're about due another review of Tempest 2000 I think :P

Yes, amazingly enough, we haven't quite hit our yearly quota just yet. :D

What are we 2 shy from this years quota? lol

#2085049 Last Jaguar game?

Posted by BuddyBuddies on Wed Sep 1, 2010 11:08 AM

Fight for Life was the last released Jaguar game before Atari merged with JTS. Telegames and Songbird and Scatologic titles were all post Atari releases and released after the Jaguar's commercial life had ended. JAGUAR RULES!

Oh,by the way,you won't be getting one of my copies of RP cheap,when I sell one,Eric. ;)

How much are you selling it for?! LOL I think we'd all love to know that.
But, hey, I'm here to ask you a question. I AM NOT HERE TO START AN ARGUMENT. PLEASE RESPECT THAT!

In the JSII forums, you gave me contact information for Lance. I think someone over there decided to erase that thread, and I assume that is a good thing for clearing your reputation. But whatever. Do you have that contact information again so I can chat with Lance. I'd like to clear the mud with him and find out what is going on.

Thanks.

Not trying to get off topic or ruin this thread, but we DO NOT delete things on JSII, i just checked to see if it was still there and it is. To find it use the search. thank you
