  1. Probably asking for too much, but a port of the old vectrex game, Fortress of Narzod would be amazing.
  2. Has anyone used a Gravis 9-pin joystick on a 2600? I saw one in my local game store earlier todY and I have been very curious. The owner had not tested it or priced it yet. He's not even sure what it is. I don't really know either, but it caught my eye. It's 9-pin and if sega controllers work, I figure it must work. I can't find anything concrete though. Looks like some are 9 pin, some 15, some specific to PC game inputs. Was hoping someone here might be able to shine some light. Thanks.
  3. Would be cool if there was an app to enter all the games you have and pick one for you at random. I'm sure there probably is something like that.
  4. I've yet to pay that much n for a rom personally. I'd pay that for a rom and printed manual. But it's a bit steep for a digital 2600 rom in my opinion. I understand people work hard on their games. But I doubt anyone is living off the sales of 2600 homebrew. I paid for the first Star Castle 2600 rom. And recently backed a kickstarted for an upcoming genesis homebrew rom for $10. I had considered buying some of the champ games roms at one point. But seemed a bit too steep for me and wasn't clear if they would have worked on harmony encore.
  5. Just a late update. Turned out to be the TV itself. Had a different TV I tried out and worked fine with all games.
  6. I happen to have a regular harmony on hand as well. Just tried it, and it seems to work fine on the regular harmony cart, but not the encore.
  7. Anyone near Antioch, CA that knows how to change a db-9 port? Hello I got an AV modded 2600 off of Etsy, but the player one port has an issue where player 1 hpaddles don't work correctly and HelloHello. Is there anyone near Antioch, CA that may be able tomhelp me with replacing a db-9 port on my 2600? I bought an av modded 2600, but when it arrived, the player 1 paddles don't work properly. The player 1 paddle jerks, skips, and jitters. Player two paddle is fine and joysticks are fine. I used another cartridge and several sets of paddles to confirm that is specifically an issue with this particular console. Unfortunately, I bought the console "as-is". The seller did inform me that he thinks it could have something to do with 2 pins that are used by paddles but not joysticks. Either this needs to be resoldered, or the whole port replaced. Unfortunately, I don't know how to solder or electronics repair. I also have MS, which makes keeping a steady hand for such things quite difficult.. I was hoping to find someone in the area who may be able to help.. I would pay for repair services of course.. I tried asking local game shops,, but none of the ones I know can or will do it.. Thanks in advance. Anyone near Antioch, CA that
  8. M90 Strange. I literally just got my harmony encore the other day. Should be latest firmware.
  9. Sd card works fine with everything else I've tried on it. Using the final release of Charge that jrok released. It plays fine on my rg351v handheld, but not on my new harmony encore.
  10. Does Harmony Encore 1.06 support DPC+ games? I was trying to play Charge! By Jrok. But, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work. I kinda assumed it would, or am I wrong? Is it intended to support DPC+ in the future?

    Charge!

Sorry for the necrobump, but I just got a Harmony encore cart and really wanted to play Charge! On it as it was one of my favorite homebrews of Jrok's. I can't seem to get it to run though. The yin yang just keeps spinning when I try to start. Is there a Harmony cart compatible version that I am not aware of? Thanks.
  12. Do any of these work with a master system controller?
  13. Thanks for the info. Still went over my head and couldn't get those games to work on that TV, and no luck finding a vcr locally to try av. 🤪 Lucked out and found an older, similar size and weight tv in the garage that seems to work just fine.
  14. Don't have a 3d printer myself. Is there a 3d printer service of sort? I'd like to get these for my two game centers.
  15. Thanks guys. Went with micro sd. Though, in hindsight, think I should have went for sd just cause bigger and easier to handle.
