  1. The 2600-daptors showed up yesterday. They work great, thanks!!! Garrett
  2. Does anyone have any info about some Atari games that were sold in black and white boxes? I was thinking about the games I have and realized/remembered that when I originally bought Surround (waaay back in the day), it came in a black and white box and the manual was in black and white as well. It had the same graphics and look to it (the two guys in the control room, but instead of color, it was all black and white. I remember thinking at the time that it was the last run of that old game and Atari just reprinted the box and manual in black and white (greyscale) to save money (at least, that was what my 10-year old brain thought). Interestingly, the cartridge label was in color. I likely still have the manual (not the box), I'm going to have to look now that I'm thinking about it. Anyway, does anyone have any info about that? Just curious. Thanks, Garrett
  3. Dualcam, thanks for the super-quick response! Email replay sent. Please go ahead and process my order as-is. Thanks again! Garrett
  4. Order submitted! I just had a thought: Does the 2600-daptor support the keypad controller (the one that came with Star Raiders)? Not a big deal to use the keyboard on the computer, but just curious. Thanks, Garrett
  5. Was going to purchase 2 Stelladaptors, but these sound even better (better paddle support was the seller for me)! So, putting in my order for 2 shortly! I'm in Eugene and get up to Portland semi-regularly, but don't think I want to wait for my next trip, so I'll go with the shipping option. Heheheh, crazy how these games I grew up with are still important to me. :-) Can't want to try them out! Garrett
  6. Longhorn, at this point I would like a refund (I have gone with another mod). I apologize for asking for this publicly on the forum, but all of my emails via your website have gone unanswered and I am unsure how else to get a response. Please email me to let me know when I can expect a refund. Thanks, Garrett gar1138 Hi Garrett. If it's not a custom job you're having made special, could I persuade you to disclose a link to the other mod? After five and a half months I've just about had enough of excuses, so maybe I want to go that route too. Kind regards, - Anders I don't want to hijack this thread, but email or PM me and I'll be happy to point you to what I used. Thanks, Garrett

Thanks, Garrett

  9. I also have tried to get hold of him without much success. My mod appears to have problems and asked for advice, but got no reply. I hope he's ok. I chalked up his earlier unresponsiveness to working on finishing his senior year of college. But considering that people have paid good money for this thing, he has a responsibility to respond to people when they contact him, especially since he has people who have been waiting almost half a year for their purchases. If nothing else, could you put a claim in with paypal? I'm not sure of their TOS tho. Yeah, I looked at a PayPal claim, but I believe I am just past the cutoff time. Crazy, I didn't know I got screwed until it was too late.... Garrett
  10. I ordered the 2600 assembled mod almost exactly three months ago. Paid good money for it when I ordered it, and haven't heard a peep since. I have sent several emails and nothing. My last email, I finally asked for a refund, and still nothing. At this point, I just want my money back, but it seems I'm destined to be ignored forever. It's too bad, too. Seems like this mod is really good. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get a reply from LE (and hopefully get a refund for undelivered goods)? Thanks, Garrett
  11. What roms couldn't you find? If you are looking for Activision roms AA doesn't host them, but most any other rom site will. Maybe try theoldcomputer.com Yes, Activision was most of the ROMs that I didn't see here. I'll do a more thorough search and also try theoldcomputer.com. Thanks! gar1138
  12. Hello. I have what is probably a very simple and silly question, but I haven't been able to find a definitive answer yet. I would like to know how people get the 2600 cartridge ROMs on and off of a cartridge. I assume this is a cartridge reader/writer of some type that plugs into your computer, but I haven't been able to find info about one. What I want to do is simply download the ROMs off of my 2600 cartridge collection for backup and to be able to run them in an emulator (so I don't have to connect up my 2600 each time I want to play a quick game). Some of the ROMs (for the carts I have) I've found here on Atariage. Other carts I have don't seem to have ROMs posted, hence my need to find some way to create my own ROMs. In the Atariage store, I see all sorts of PCB boards for carts, but I don't see anything about how to get ROMs to/from them. Could someone provide some info and/or point me in the right direction? Again, I apologize if this is a silly question and I've just missed something somewhere. Thanks, gar1138
