  1. Relics is the same game as it doesn't take use of the VP+ graphics for the background. Here are some screens for the other two games in Odyssey2 mode. They look all great in my opinion, Rafale makes a very good job!
  2. Yes, these games run on NTSC O2 systems of course! The games also exploit the functionalities of the Videopac + systems, but all run on a standard Odyssey2 as well. Of course Côté Gamers ships to the 4 corners of the world! I don't know about shipping costs, you'll have to check directly on the site.
  3. I recommend Tom Beck's youtube page, where he makes great gameplay videos for Videopac. He had pre-releases in his hands for Monkey Jump, Demon Fire, Relics and more! Concerning HERO version, it has been released by videopacbelgium if I'm not mistaken.
  4. After Frozen Fort, Côté Gamers is publishing no less than 3 games. Demon Fire, which you've already heard of and which has been delayed, and now two new releases: Relics of the Mad King and Monkey Jump. All three are designed by Rafael Cardoso. No worries for those who pre-ordered Demon Fire a few months ago: if you'd also like to buy Relics and Monkey, all you have to do is order them, and the three games will be delivered simultaneously at the end of March. Note that these editions further enhance the quality of Côté Gamers' regular editions. Hence the premium suffix associated with them. Even more rigid, the difference also lies in the visuals, and the content is as rich and varied as ever: makingof booklet, poster, encyclopedic cards and many other surprises to discover! These editions benefit from an original 3D cartridge design, so as not to "cannibalize" vintage games. These cartridges are personalized with the name of the program, and can even be decorated by yourself! The PCB is still made by Marc verres, whom we'd like to thank warmly, as well as Rafael Cardoso, the developer who puts his trust in us, and all the people involved in these various projects, whether visual or beta-testing, for example. We have great ambitions for the Videopac scene, and we hope you enjoy these games. In the future, starting in the next few months, you can look forward to several new games in the pipeline, a really complete book about the Videopac systems, and much more! Here's the link to the 3 games. Without urging you to buy, please note that we've decided to release three games at the same time, so you can save on shipping costs, which these days is far from negligible! We're now thinking of doing this by trying to group several editions together. That's more money in one go for you, but still saves you money in total. Thank you in advance for your support, and please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have, even if I think everything is well described on the site! For those of you who don't know Côté Gamers, please note that, in addition to Videopac, this publisher also publishes on many other platforms, and you may not be a fan of Videopac alone, so don't hesitate to have a look at their creations for ColecoVision, Intellivision, Neo-Geo CD, MSX, Vectrex and many others. You'll also find a wide range of books, some published in English. You can have fun, read and learn about your passion - that's what Côté Gamers is all about! 5. Nice game, I really like the concept! I have encountered one time the graphic bug, on emulation (with openemu on an old mac laptop). Do you want some beta-testing on a real coleco and/or on a phoenix? If it can help you to solve this problem, let me know.
  6. I have just played with your last freeware, including Ice Muncher of course. Nice job Nicam! I will review them in the issue #4 of Coleco magazine from Côté Gamers to come in some "little months" I hope! (I have already made an article about Quatre and all your other freeware in a previous issue). And I think I have the answer for the music tunes - on title screen it concerns a tune from a TV wildlife French program called "Les animaux du monde" - in-game, I have recognized a music from an obscure rock French band I like at the time: "Les Sheriff" with the song called "Le Rock balance"! Nice choice Nicam, love that!
  7. Due to some questions about this release of Future Vector's Vectral, we have made a teaser to show you in action what's inside this beautiful physical edition! Enjoy your viewing! The official website page (in English but exists also in French and Spanish): Côté Gamers VECTRAL (Vectrex) And don't forget to take a look at the encyclopedia vol.1 dedicated to the Vectrex Vectrex encyclopedia vol.1
  8. Benoit, the developer, has extensively revised his program. Notable additions and modifications include: - Significantly increased speed. Hence the title! - All transitions are smoother, including bends (the first Wireouts were a bit jerky in curves). - Added short jumps in some circuits. When the player takes them too slowly, he falls and it's game over! - Added new scenery elements, such as dark tunnels and dirt trenches, for variety and to distract the player. The two other games on the cartridge, Honey and Nuka Bomb, take very original use of the Light Pen. and Honey offers a two-player mode (one with Light Pen, the other with joystick. And it is possible to exchange roles during a game!). And don't forget the deep making-of to know all things about the genesis of this project and the encyclopedic sheets!
  9. Thank you Luc! A Xmas gift really appreciated. And can't wait for Utopia
  10. So sad to hear that... I remembered discussed with him about the Studio II. He was a very kind person, with a fantastic knowledge. It's a very bad news. And I am totally in favor to preserve his work, it is a very good idea! Perhaps someone could preserve his website to be sure it will never disappeared?
  11. I have helped for beta-testing, the cartridge is compatible with NTSC systems. No board pieces like QftR, "just" a straight-up adventure/exploration game (it is not a real platformer)! Also, be sure the making-of is very interesting to read, to know more about the game
  12. Official teaser is online, here:
  13. Game has been totally revisited, enhanced and polished by Alekmaul and published physically by Côté Gamers (at the same time with Uwol quest for money). So ROM file has been "erased" as it was just a first release without beta-testing, not well-balanced and so on. There are topics on AA about these two physical releases.
