Emulation because I haven't touched an Atari joystick in ages, so the 360 controller I use for emus feels more familiar.

Was searching for info on old gaming mascots and found this thread. Always loved the Synapse artwork, and wondered what's the story with the orange robot guy (as well as the cat and the little blue mouse) featured in many ads. Was he a take on Shamus or did he even have a name?

Man, talk about a no-brainer emulator utility! Started Daphne Downloader at about 3AM and at 6PM I'm playing Cobra Command and have most other files completed. TANKS IN THE DESERT! USE YOUR MISSILES! Awesome.

No love for Black Tiger? Multi-directional platforming, hidden treasures, collecting money to buy weapons upgrades, armor and power-ups, boss fights and an actual ending with credits...all in an '80s coin-op game? WOW.
