All this buying stuff to just preserve value goes beyond me. Kind of impractical too since regardless of rarity you never know what could happen. The publicity and attempts at tracking down Men-A-Vison could result in more copies showing up and ruining the value that way. Back now. For a minute I thought someone was pissed at the price of the game and was attacking the site, and the auction would be gone and have to start all over again. Whew.

They probably want to get people to bid before the end result of the GameGavel one sets a new standard price for a boxed copy, bringing the value of lesser condition copies down considerably. That's how I see it anyway, though the addition of the manual makes it a bit more complicated. Is GameGavel down for anyone else? Wonder what happened...

Forgive my ignorance, but how does a repro exist of this game, exactly? Did someone scan the box years ago? I'm just finding it hard to beleive something so elusive would have all of its artwork out there for someone to use to make a copy that replicates every detail so precisely. With something like Stadium Events on NES people at least have the less rare PAL version to work off of for art, so doubting copies of that that come out makes sense, but for this game the only like 1 confirmed boxed copy before these recent two wasn't ever scanned....was it?
