  1. I guess my assumption was that I would have access to the upper memory to write my programs in.
  2. I was not sure who to address this question to Drac030 or Phaeron or where on the forum to post this question. When I type ? fre(0) in MultiBasic I get 13089 bytes free. I have High Memory addressing set to None (24-bit addressing). Also I do not see a setting for the amount of 24-bit addressable memory to allocate. Is it possible to get more free ram for MultiBasic?
  3. I'd be interested in that if you can find a copy, just for the curiosity value. I have a ATR file here. Do you want it or are you looking for a disk?
  4. uH stands for micro-Henrys. Quoted from Wikipedia -"The henry (symbol: H) is the SI unit of inductance." I have an Atari 800 opened up; if you tell me where to look, I can see if it's marked on the motherboard what type of transistor/inductor. What does uH stand for? And Atari 400 doesn't have composite video.
  5. Nope - just been too long since playing it! Just remember a few bits and pieces. Early in the game it does warns you about exposing blood to something on the ship (don't remember what) as a result a creature emerges from the blood. It's a long shot but what about Gruds in Space or snowball (level 9) No - both those have graphics in them - this was a pure text adventure - kinda like Avalon Hill's GFS Sorceress.

  7. I remember playing a text based space adventure a long time ago... You were on a space ship and had to figure out who the (alien?) was. At one point in the game you were playing a squash type game against a "friend" whose arm you cut with your racket. shortly after the wound was gone. Soon after that you had to battle a blood borne monster. Any Ideas?

  11. Sounds to me like you have a loose solder joint. Give them a check.
  12. After looking at Jerzy Sobolo's schematics, for the keyboard multiplexer ic's look for CD4051's
  13. Is there a routine for Turbo Basic XL or Atari Baisc for a "PRINT USING" comand that someone has written? I do not want to re-invent the wheel if I do not have to .
