Are there any gold upgrade kits available for the CX21 Video Touch Pad that came with Star Raiders for the 2600??? You figure that since there are gold contact kits available for the 5200 controllers that maybe either Best Electronics or Atari Repair Parts would have such a kit readily available. It’d be nice to have a “forever” keypad upgrade kit for the CX21 for the 2600 don’t you think???

Maybe Paul Lay @playsoft can come out of retirement and do it, I hope he can as well as some other 8-bit titles I'll later present in a .zip folder for him to convert as well as perhaps the two Maclean versions of 8-bit Defender and Stargate mentioned in another thread

If it’s the same one I did a video on you go to the menu and select the sound system mode on it and switch the mode to the “M” position, that should solve it, you might have it on “DK”, and that may be where your problem is stemming from.

I said “f**k this shit!” and totally disabled all protections as I already have AVG Internet Security in which allows EVERYTHING to go through fine while just eliminating the malware and or virus involved. I myself also like to use various foreign-based downloading sites for downloading MP3s and other content off of YouTube videos as well as Vimeo and Dailymotion and also other select videos including porn and AVG handles those fine too. But I agree Big Tech is going TOO FAR as to tell us what sites they deem as “dangerous”, like two I like to use like yt5s.com and btclod.com in which are two I use mostly for downloading YouTube videos and MP3s off of them, I think that it’s about time to tell Big Tech to SHOVE IT!!!

I just got done watching the @ZeroPage Homebrew Twitch cast on this awesome game and I am quite impressed with it yet another masterpiece from @johnnywc John Champeau and Champ Games, I wonder for those who may have watched along with me what your thoughts are on it. BTW, the proverbial $64 question I'd like to ask John on behalf of all of us, when will the first demo ROM be released for us to try???

See THAT’S why I prefer the 5200 over the XEGS when it comes to gameplay, so I don’t want no bullshit when I put in conversion requests for certain A8 titles because we definitely DESERVE THEM for OUR system too!!! There are a lot of great games WE should be able to play too!!! But in all fairness to my fellow 5200 owners, unlike myself and a few select others who have both not everyone has the money or means to have BOTH a 5200 AND an XEGS, and if it came to one or the other based solely on gameplay, and controller capability, especially when it comes to games like Star Raiders and Defender, it would have to be the 5200, especially since we now have THE SAME TOOLS to use on her as the XEGS, 2600, or 7800, especially the controllers we can now use with the Masterplay and also Redemption 5200 adapters for 2600 and 7800 controllers and their options on those units.

Speaking of Defender what if you want to engage into hyperspace mode on an XEGS? What key do you hit for future reference?

The "N50" marking gives away the OP's location being in Australia/New Zealand. I have bought portable Walkman units out of the Australian market before on eBay (the Sony D-NE700 ATRAC/MP3 CD Walkman and MZ-NH700 Hi-MD Walkman come to mind from 20 years ago).

Dude, forget the VCR, if you own an HDTV with HDMI jacks, watch this video and get this device, and since you own a PAL system and PAL antennas have that IEC connector you won't need the antenna plug adapter that I had to get (also mentioned both in the video and the post description on it)... and yes they DO work on Aussie TVs as well, you just need to proper power adapter with the proper AU plug blades (240v)

Hey thanks, while IT IS a beautiful are here in the Great Northwest it is also a very tough area to get your wares noticed on a mainstream platform, hence my having to resort to "stalking" Cindy Margolis (she and I were former high school classmates and co-graduates 40 years ago in L.A. at The Notorious Erik And Joan Erikson Center, Tarzana, CA) and mentioning her name over and over again constantly in order to prop up my career so I can get the same opportunities in the entertainment business as people in more metropolitan and urban areas do without having to move to "the big city", mostly due to both my poor social skills and being severely-low-income, when you live in a densely rural area like Port Townsend/Jefferson County I feel I'm at a significant disadvantage because of all of that.
