  1. Well, to keep the thread alive, let's throw a bone out there to not only promote this great game but also to get someone to do (at least) a PAL-to-NTSC conversion of it so everyone here on THIS SIDE of the Atlantic can enjoy it too. Zkeep.zip zkeep_by_kkaltair.zip
  2. Yeah I noticed in the post description/credits of your videos you use a RetroTink 5x, I myself have a RetroTink 2x Mini but refuse to use it because of compatibility issues with certain 2600 games like Asteroids Battlezone and Warlords and also because of it acting up with both my Insignia TV and Sony home theater receiver I use it on, will it help if I use the RetroTink instead of my Insignia converter?
  3. I wondered where I can find the NTSC version of the outstanding 2600 port of YOOMP! entitled Zkeep! I seem to have the PAL version by mistake and after seeing it on @ZeroPage Homebrew's show on YouTube I was wondering how he got his copy of it so I can play it too. I found out I had the PAL version when I noticed my screen acting up and flashing between a gray graphic and flashing blue every once in a while, unlike that on the show, my TV indicated (on my Insignia HDMI converter) what it was displaying a PAL upload instead of an NTSC one, so I would like to get the proper one thanks!
  4. Yup. Superman III definitely gave the whole ballgame away, anyone try that thing today... BANG!!! Here come the lawyers with a big-ol' lawsuit for a wad of cash that is TEN TIMES that beyond your means!!!
  5. Hey it IS a tastefully done up logo isn't it, any legal quirks anyone??? .....and yes those ARE "ones" on "1ON1", again, in the "YD Yoonche M" font in which the file containing the word download is available, the Atari logo in the "O" in "1ON1" is in the "SF Atarian System" word download available online. OnlineWebFonts_COM_749bd718f597d403ad59d10fe79b7e07.zip Atarian System.zip
  6. .....and I planned on having prominent Atari legends and celebrities as regular guests on "1ON1" ("One On One") including Howard Scott Warshaw, Tod Frye, Garry Kitchen, Carol Shaw, @bigfriendly, also the host of @ZeroPage Homebrew, and who knows, maybe even our very own Paul Lay @playsoft among other AA users, and yes maybe even @Albert Yarusso Himself and hopefully Wade Rosen, hey at this point the sky's the limit when your channel only has 130 subscribers.
  7. Actually that was "1ON1" ("One On One"), in which was going to be my interview segment I was going to launch later on after the channel picks up speed and draws numbers and a large enough subscriber base to warrant it, as well as most of that other programming. And the plan was for myself to (once again, as i do all of my own stunts) do my voiceover for it with an instrumental version (downloaded off of a YouTube video) of the Hall & Oates' hit "One On One" (hey we ARE an 80s channel after all!) in the background in which inspired me to not only come up with the title, but also, come up with the wallpaper and the title logo as well. nicely done up in the same font as "5200" ("YD Yoonche M") is depicted on Atari's own graphics in "Atari 5200" in 1983 on their literature/on the console/packaging, etc. But knowing how "sue-happy" some people can be, especially Atari nowadays. knowing their namesake is (at this point, still) irrelevant to most people under 40 in this country, this might pass of to them, if they are their intended target audience, as some sort of mere "publicity stunt" used to boost their otherwise sagging name, much like many have accused me of doing by constantly using Cindy Margolis' namesake in order to boost my image and get my namesake out there and get more hits on google and get hopefully get noticed in the mainstream entertainment industry, plain and simple it is an unacceptable practice.
  8. It was used in an analogy involving legal actions including Atari's IPs it was not intended to be political in any way shape or form
  9. Would any of my wallpapers I would be using on The Atari Report (or even the name sake for the channel) if I were to bring it back be in violation of any of Atari's IP rights??? I don't want to become lawsuit bait, I don't make very much at my part-time work over at Safeway (I take home less than $1,000.00/month and only get about $1,200.00/month from Social Security, my monthly rent is about 800/month with just my TV, phone and internet being my only other recurring monthly bills) and I don't want to be taken to the cleaners and not be able to (legitimately) have the means to be able to satisfy a potentially massive money judgement.
  10. FINALLY someone of reason.... one for Big Sexy!!! ....and hopefully in a smaller form factor while maintaining that same sexy "figure" ....and one that'll be 100% backwards compatible with all existing 5200 carts (including both generations of the Atarimax SD cart) controllers and accessories, including the world-famous CX53 trak-ball.
  11. Doesn't any gamer have a specific niche so they can get that competitive edge on a game, I mean who doesn't want higher scores??? That's why there IS the third-party controller industry, it goes all the way back to the days of Wico. Pointmaster, Triga Command, Slik Stik, etc.
  12. BTW also, I also read that Atari themselves once came up with a 2600 version of Stargate in which utilizes an additional direction of the right controller for the Inviso too on top of the smart bomb and hyperspace functions too, in fact at that time (1984) folks said it was the most advanced 2600 port they had ever seen.
  13. Next get yourself a Harmony Encore for all the great homebrews and subscribe to @ZeroPage Homebrew's YouTube channel so you can watch his show for all the latest new works!!! ....and of course don't forget about my 3 YouTube channels including The Atari Report, in which I just might want to bring back as I have some rather terrific ideas in which I believe will boost the subscription and viewership numbers dramatically, just need to get the new equipment first!!! Details later this coming month on its impending return!!!
