  1. Dear all; Continuing to clean out the Garage; For Sale: good condition TI-99/4A. I am original owner, my sister bought it in 1982-something. In good shape, it powered up last in 2000 or 2002 something. I have since lost the power supply. No Power supply, I think i have a set of joysticks for it. The silver part on the keyboard is pulling up a bit due to age, maybe can be glued down? It affects the computer in no way. so $20 for the computer, say $10 for shipping, $30 total? TI-99/4A computer, with joysticks, no power supply for $30 shipped I have no idea if I Can find hte basic cartridge for it I will try to include it. Thanks! email me here or tcropper at aol.com Cell 210-471-9609 Thanks!
  2. I have not been on here in a while, but we are cleaning out the storage bin since we are moving again! I have a very good condition Atari 130XE for sale, was part of my uncle's collection and was working circa 1995 or so, but since then I have lost the power supply in the moves. I am about 99% sure it still works since most of the time it was stored in my close under A/C, plastic wrapped, not much dust contamination. Selling it as is, $65 OBO ? Let me know and I will go pull from storage and ship immediately. I'll pay the shipping! Need to know if anyone is interested in the next few days before things get crazy with the move. IF I pull it out and there is any problems I will email you....This comes from an Atari Collector... Paypal will be used for this transaction! hostmetx at yahoo dot com or two ten four seven one nine six 0 nine Toby Cropper
  3. I just saw this old post and I was hoping to get a manual scan for my Portfolio as well. Does anyone have an original Portfolio manual scan out there? Many Thanks!
  4. Come on guys, price is negotiable, and I am willing to include shipping with this price. Any Takers?
  5. Offered exclusively here only/no ebay: For Sale: Atari 1050 Disk Drive w/ power supply and original Atari Manual. Asking price is $35. I take paypal and will ship to the continental USA using the USPS or other method if requested. This drive worked with all/most of my floppies and my 1200XL. I have 2 of them for my 1200XL so I do not need an extra at this time. Please email me at hostmetx@yahoo.com or call (210) 471-9609 for more info. Thanks!
  6. I am looking at the portfolio and I found some guys in the czech republic that were making 1MB memory cards for it. Anyone have these in the USA?? -Toby
  7. I have a 1010 with a transformer that I wired direct to the unit. I have kept it covered in plastic wrap and I can test it before I ship it. It's yours for $15 (this includes the shipping). No SIO cables though, I need that, unless you need a spare SIO cable. -Toby
  8. I think you are right but you need to make sure that you use ASCII so that when you connect you can hit ENTER and it sends the correct carriage return. I had that problem as well getting my 1200XL with the SX212 to run. Also make sure the cables seem secure and that you can use the AT command set to send a command to the modem. I am in San Antonio if you need software...
  9. BF! Way Cool! Yes, thanks guys, and yes BF it is the copy you sent me. I was successfully able to login to PB and then log into Mousenet BBS. But if I remember correctly sudden disconnects are a cause of line noise? now I am on a hunt to discover the source of my line noise
  10. Thanks for the info! Yes, you are exactly right, an Atari mail server would fix my client's problems and provide a secure mail server because nothing else runs on Atari. Viruses did not exist during Atari's time
  11. Ah HA, thanks guys, I thought there was something to ATASCII commands. Anyone know the proper command for enter in ATASCII ? Thanks!
  12. Under Mint? I figured that much, but I have not found anything. Anyone have old shareware archives you could point me to and see if I can find something there?
  13. Is there or was there any software that ran on the Atari ST or Falcons that would allow either web or email servers to be run? I would be interested in hosting email with an old ST if I can find some software. Just a fun retro project! Many Thanks!
  14. I have SX express and the Atari SX212 modem. I need to dial a long distance code to dial out, but when I try to enter that as a number, it does not allow me to enter the last 7 digits or so. I was wondering how the LD code function worked as well as macros. i.e. I am trying to dial 18772602763,,1,,972XXXXX (like for prison Board BBS) If I could do a direct dial I would just put ATDT in the front, but the modem does not appear to accpt direct commands from SX Express from Keith LEdbetter. Thanks anyone...........Toby (FYI: Atari 1200XL)
  15. Was hoping Curt or someone would post the original Atari address for their offices, if any, in San Antonio, TX. I drive all over the place for work and think it would be neat to see the old location. Thanks everyone!
