  2. Yeah, I saw that after I posted. The instructions for modifying the unit are for the 2600 jr., right? I opened up my 2600 and couldn't find that layout on my board, and could not find the components shown on the drawing. My console has a cast shielding box on the inside with an aluminum "lid". I guess I should just go through something else that has coax...
  3. So, I gave away my old TV with the 75ohm input on the back. My new LCD only has HDMI, Component (Y, Pb, Pr), S-Video, and Composite... I've searched the site, and only found a DIY on how to convert another box to Composite output, but have found nothing on the 2600. Is there a way to modify the box to ouput a signal to one of these inputs? Thanks, M-F.

    Thanks Heaps!

Thanks for the welcome, guys. Funny...last night, I was at a business dinner. I called home and let my wife know I was headed home after dinner, and she had been playing pinball and pitfall for the last three hours All she would say on the phone was "uh-huh"..."yup"..."sure"...and "your messin' with my game"
  5. New to the forum. Just got a 2600 system from my FIL with about 40 games (nothing special, just the standards...), joysticks, paddles, keypads and driving controllers . The switch box wasn't included. Thanks to this site, I found out what I needed to go from RCA (phono) to COAX and now it's up and running! Now I'm off to RS to get some RCA cables for better Audio/Video Thanks!
