  1. Wow! Orders must have been huge and you're a one man shop! Don't know how you do it. Thanks Albert for keeping us up-to-date. We'll wait.
  2. Apparently he got a MASSIVE amount of orders and is really back logged. Glad to know I'm not the only one that hasn't seen their order yet. Well guess we are waiting then!
  3. Love this game. Finished the Omega expedition and got the new ship. Pretty cool. Still waiting on the new Space Stations! Really want to see what changes they made to them. Hope that they keep doing updates for NMS. I know it's been around since 2016 but hey how many games from 2016 are still getting updates to make it even better!
  4. Al, I know you're busy with getting games out but do you have any update on my order from the Last Chance Sale? Vrocko's my Id. My order numbers are 30958 and 31394. I see both are still pending. Just wanted to know how long it will be before I see them. Thanks! Rich P.S. Hope it's okay to post this here. Didn't know where else to put it.
  5. Well tried it on mine and nope it does not work. Looks like I'll have to get the cart! Tried EXO too but no luck.
  6. Hey has anyone tested the ROMS on the Game Station Pro? I'd like to try A.R.T.I., Exo and Keystone Koppers.
  7. Right! No video games didn't go away but the Crash of '83 was a huge decline in the games industry that did a LOT of damage especially to Atari and to other gaming companies at the time. Nintendo, Sega and to some extent NEC came in and helped to revive consoles and reinvigorate the video games market then in 1985. No people didn't stop playing their Atari's, Colecovisions, Intellivision, etc. but you weren't going to get newer games for those systems until the homebrew market came along. You can see how much those games have improved. Homebrew has invigorated classic systems and with tech today games are so much better. We all still play classic systems because of nostalgia, fun, and just to prove that sometimes classic games are better than the new ones.
  8. I disagree. I was there. I saw what happened to video games. When I could walk into a Kay B' Hobby with $10 and come out with 9 games at a $1 or LESS I'd say that was a crash. Anybody who was anybody was trying to make a game for the Atari 2600 to get on the video game band wagon. When you have Kool-Aid and Purina making video games for the 2600 you have a to stand back and think, "Wait a drink mix company and a pet food company are making video games? What the hey?" I saw recent Atari games, for the time, in bins for a $1.00, $.75, $.50. There was a high supply of low quality games and low demand. Everyone blames E.T. for the fall and I agree it wasn't a great game but it did not start the whole downfall. It was a part of it as were other games like Exocet, Donkey Kong which was a terrible arcade port as was Pac-Man, which was MADE by ATARI. Don't forget the number of systems out as well. The 2600, Intellivision, Colecovision, Bally, Vectrex, Atari 5200, Odyssey 2, again the market was flooded with systems and games. Plus home computers were starting to hit the market. I know people were thinking why should I buy a $200 or $300 video game system when you can buy a home computer for the same or less. With the home computer I can play games and keep track of finances, write letters, learn to program, learn about the world around me, and so many other things. Now you may say well you just took all this from Wikipedia. No I was there. I had a 2600. I got a Commodore 64 for Christmas. My brother had a TI-99. Consoles, I thought, were on the way out and Home PC's were coming to replace them. I sold my 2600 and 100+ games because of this, dumbest thing I could have ever done but hey I was kid. I did think that they were going the way of the dinosaur. Then Nintendo stepped in and changed all that in 1985. My nephew bought a NES by selling all his Star Wars figures. He made a lot of money and got the NES and we all enjoyed it. No the Crash happened, it's not a myth or fake. It really did happen, you can take my word for it.
  9. Yeah what did happen to Xevious? Saw the pics of the guy playing it on the Jag but never a cart!

    Homebrews

Don't suppose anybody's working on a Vindicators port to the 7800. Used to love that game in the arcade and would love to see it on the 7800. Bosconian too. I've seen the 2600 version and was really impressed. May have to get that if it doesn't get a homebrew on the 7800. Just bought Donkey Kong off eBay and should get it this week. Popeye looks just like the arcade and will have to get that as well. Hmmm...maybe it's time to think about a Christmas list from Atari Age.
  11. Well you can definitely add Cleveland and Youngstown, OH on to that list. I know Youngstown isn't that big but it's pot holes are!!

    Homebrews

Yeah I heard about that. I'd have to get the Game Drive version of the 7800 to play the fixed "Possible Mission." I had Impossible Mission back in day when the 7800 first came out but sold the whole lot. Now I'm back into it.

    Homebrews

I'll check it out. I just got Robotron off eBay. Will see it sometime this week. I like Breakout and will try that one too. So many games so little money. LOL. Too funny! Love it!

    Homebrews

So got my 7800 setup and have been collecting the original games that came out. Xevious, a must have for me, Asteroids, Dig Dug, Pole Position II, Centipede, and few others that I've got from eBay or Shopgoodwill.com. I want Impossible Mission, Galaga, Robotron and Rampage. I'd like to get some of the homebrews too like Scramble, another favorite of mine, and Beef Drop. Any other suggestions? I don't suppose anyone is doing Elevator Action, I see it was in the pike to be made when the 7800 originally came out but got cancelled. So many good games from that time period would be great to see on the 7800. Tell me what you think.
  15. Vindicators. Love that game and would like to see it on 7800.
